This is about the movie/new TV series. I saw the movie, and it was the shittiest piece of shit that was ever shat. The characters looked like they were made out of wood, the acting was terrible, and the movement was choppy. The plot was juvenile and overall it just pissed me off. And again, this is coming from someone who actually enjoyed the prequel trilogy. I didn't like it nearly as much as the original trilogy, but I liked it nonetheless. But I sat down and watched four episodes of the Cartoon Network series today, and to my surprise it was actually pretty good. Not as good as the old microseries, but very watchable. The production values on the individual episodes were better than those of the movie, as were the voice acting and plot. Which begs the question: how the fuck did they go so wrong with the movie, which was made for the sole purpose of advertising the TV series? We know the Star Wars franchise isn't going anywhere. There will be thousands of books, video games, and TV series episodes to come. We know for a fact that there is a live-action TV series coming which will explain in detail all of the events that took place between episodes III and IV. I fear that it will suck balls, but I have slight hope that it won't. What I would most like to see is a Knights of the Old Republic movie, as the game had a better storyline than all of the movies combined.
