even if global warming was real, the effects would come slowly. ive even seen al gore admit this. i really dont care if the planets climate is changing. humans are the most important, so naturally things should change for us. |

I should have been more clear. When I said "source" what I meant was, "published in a reputable scientific journal and submitted for peer review." |

But that page did not describe the effects the original scientist claimed. All it did was explain the theory of global climates. |

the effects of climate change are really slow, infact with all these people saying "i dont remember it being this hot as a kid" little do they know.... the temperature has risen by 1 degree. one would assume warmer temperatures would make things easier. the world changes all the time, this is no different. if you place animal life equal to or greater (or anywhere near a humans) theres something wrong with you |

Sudan, Russia, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, Vietnam, Syria, Lebanon... Kidding. But I'd rather live here, Japan, Australia, or the United Kingdom (Scotland, specifically). Canada is number 5 on the list. |

because humans are more important, we dont simply at on pure instinct and we create. other animals are not as important. If you dont care about other people theres something wrong with you, especially if you give an animal equal value. if you were going to save something from a burning building i would hope youd pick a human over a dog |

Of course, but I think what Cody is saying is that there isn't any reason why animals and humans can't coexist. Our survival does not depend upon erradicating animals. We should be making our best effort to save animals where possible. Animal lives are not worth more than human lives, but I think they can be worth more than human convenience. |

I didnt say they couldnt coexist. all I said is that we dont need to bend over backwards for animals. |
