And I was surprised that they all (Simpsons, Family Guy and King of the Hill) were entertaining. Simpsons had a celebrity reference but it wasn't until the end and very brief. The whole basis of the episode was on an emotional disparity between Homer and Lisa. It was decent but after seeing the Bonestorm/Shoplifting episode the night before it definitely didn't stack up. Still, for a new episode it was pretty good. I am still surprised that they got me to laugh a couple times, which hasn't happened for a while with the Simpsons (new). King of the Hill was quite entertaining. Same as usual. Funny, intelligent, redneck humour inter-mingled with more "modern" ideas. Family Guy was very good considering what kind of shit they've been shoveling since the start of the post-cancellation period. Most of the jokes were original (something they've lacked for a while) and even though there was some very, very risque humour, it was delivered very well. ~ All in all I was quite impressed with both Simpsons and Family Guy for providing entertainment without wasting my time. For once they actually got some writers who knew more about writing something original than just blatant plagiarizing or recycling. Still... nothing like the old days. The Bonestorm episode is leagues better.

change molds name back in 2011 Posts: 7,126 Group: Members Member #43 Joined: Sep 27, 2008	as long as FG has the random jokes and the immature gabrage like the "hurts dont it" joke they advertised I wont watch it. as far as the simpsons, as much as i liket he show ive never caught new episodes even when it was in its heyday. im all about reruns and watching them online. that being said, i havent seen many new episodes.
