That's the argument I always make when people ask why anyone would want to own an assault rifle. Now, I don't think for a second that Obama is going to be some oppressive dictator. An oppressive, Socialist idiot perhaps, but a well-intentioned one. But people forget that Hitler was elected. There could come a day when our idiotic voting populous elects a dictator in disguise, and if Obama takes our guns away then we'll have no means to combat it. Beyond the threat of our own government, we have foreign countries to think about. As we've seen in Iraq and Afghanistan, it's harder than shit to invade a country where everyone is armed. I'd like to see someone try to invade the United States in the South, where guns out number people 30-1. No, if we get invaded it will be at some pussy city like Seattle or San Francisco.
