i think its interesting. i mean, it makes sense considering you wouldnt be able to force a company not to compete because of copyrights, intellectual property, tarrifs and corporate welfare.

Its important to point out that governments are the source of most monopolies.

Anti-trust laws need to be abolished immediately. Standard Oil is the case that supporters of Sherman Anti-trust always bring up, but before the lawsuits came their market share had already been declining. The government took it from a majority marketshare to a monopoly by making it impossible for other companies to compete.

Logically, if the market has more barriers and regulations then only the largest and richest will be able to compete in it.
