...so I says to myself, I says, this place needs a girl advice topic... Anyone here had unlucky experiences with ladies who think you're "just a friend"? I hear it's very difficult, but nonetheless possible, to get out of the zone. Does anyone have any advice to get a guy out of this hellhole?

*high school anecdote from Dave* New girl moves in next door during the summer. I go over and say hi. School starts a few weeks later. We share a few elective courses. I sit beside her purposefully. We start gathering a group of friends and hanging out on a daily basis. The end of the term arrives. By this time we're easily friends. Have a lot in common. Hanging out is good. I ask her is she wants to go to see the first Lord of the Rings movie (winter 2001). She agrees. It's all good. We go. I pay. good movie. I let her borrow my jacket. I take her home. Goodnight kiss. You kinda know at that point that you're past the friend zone. I know it's not too descriptive but it's only my experience I'm going on. |

I feel for you dude. It's a horrible spot to be in when you don't want to be and I can honestly say I know of no human who has gotten out of it. I mean, I know it has happened, but I do not personally know anyone who has. He must be a god among men... But back to you, just because it doesn't happen often doesn't mean you can't be the first! I mean, you're Mold dude!! Do I have any advice for you? No, not really but I guess you can try avoiding activities that are "friend-like" and pursue activities that are "couple-like" (buttsecks?) Making your intentions clear is really all you can do apart from being blunt. The rest is up to her, but it doesn't mean you stop working on your part.
