Some kid at my school suggested we go by Congresional District with the electoral college instead of by state. (One EV per CD) I wonder how that would change things. |

It would be fail because the Republican Congress or the Democratic Congress can use gerrymandering to screw over the candidate from the other party. |

Every system has its flaws, but if the US is going to keep the Electoral College it should stop throwing the word democracy around like it's a newly learned word and recognize it's a Republic in almost every sense of the word. |
