Thankfully I'm tech-savvy enough that I don't need Geek Squad. I almost had a job at Geek Squad, but I declined after I found out how poor their reputation is. I've heard from a couple people that Geek Squad has such a poor reputation that you'll actually have a harder time finding a job with Geek Squad on your resume.

That's why we wanted the job. What we ended up getting was a position that's 70% sales adn 30% tech work. We cannot consistently provide high quality service to our clients because we're always being treats as the "smartest salespeople in the store" instead of the guys that work in the tech bench. I guarantee you that the standalone Geek Squad locations outside of Best Buy stores provide so much better service than Geek Squad precincts inside Best Buy stores.
