The Sox are just in a state of freefall. Their pitching sucks and their offense does nothing. Jason Varitek sucks now, Ortiz can't hit, Ellsbury is batting .000. This is no World Series team the way they are playing. Especially with their "ace" Josh Beckett letting up 8 ER in 4 1/3 innings. He really impressed with his straight as an arrow 88 mph fastball that the Rays teed off on. |
