At least Fenway Park is still in use... for now anyway. Fenway Park = win. Yakee Stadium = win as well, even though the Yankees suck, and it is sad to see such a historic stadium be torn down. |

Yeah Fenway Park is pretty awesome.  And it only cost a fraction of the monies used to build Yankee Stadium.I so wanted to see the last game played there. But I had lots of work at the time.

That's another reason why the Yankees suck. They are tearing down a stadium that has had what, 35+ World Series played in it? People like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig played in that Stadium. So much stuff has happened there and the Yankees just want to tear it down to build a new stadium with more luxury boxes. Yankee stadium turned into some cheap museum? Come on. I hope future owners of the Red Sox keep Fenway Park. It has so much history... it is so unique... it is an awesome place to be. Ty Cobb played in the damn park. If it is ever torn down and turned into some cheap museum or some parking lot I may cry. |

No way. They finished ahead of San Fransisco and San Diego this year. And mind you, almost all of our players were hurt this year. Jeff Francis, Todd Helton, Matt Holliday, Brad Hawpe, Clint Barmes, Troy Tulowitzki, Willy Taveras, Ryan Spilborghs, and some random bench players spent significant time on the disabled list this year. Helton is a Hall of Famer and the rest have All-Star talent. That's our entire starting outfield plus our fourth outfielder, our ace pitcher, and our whole infield except catcher and third base. 6/8 starting position players and our best pitcher. No team comes back from that. Next year will be better. |
