Swing
Neo-Swing (Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy),
Smooth Jazz (a.k.a. muzak a.k.a. elevator music)
traditional jazz
piano jazz.

What do you like best?

I'm partial to Piano Jazz. That lounge music soundin stuff that makes you think of a woman in a dress laying on top of a piano singing some sad beautiful tune.

You're at the wrong place if you're looking for sophistication. One of our moderators has eaten cereal (milk and all) off the top of his own head.

I'm just knocking you around. Everytime I say I don't like Zelda or something else like that you bust my balls for it so... ;)

Piano jazz and smooth jazz for me. Though smooth jazz is not something I listen on my iPod very often. It's good background music in restaurants and... elevators.

well then check this out. Patricia Kaas kinda fuses both of those fairly well. This one's called "And Now...Ladies and Gentlemen" from her 2002 album "Piano Bar".
