I think the heat will win again. They probably are the best team and the NBA makes the most money if they win since the Lakers have no shot without Kobe. |

Nuggets won their first game, but they really played poorly. Andre Miller bailed us out. Terribly officiated game, par for the course in the NBA. We're hoping to get Kenneth Faried for game 2, and we need him. He's our best rebounder, one of our best defenders, a double digit scorer, and our energy guy. We're an entirely different team without him. David Lee going down is bad news for the warriors, too. If Faried plays and Lee doesn't on Tuesday, that's almost a 20 rebound swing in favor of the Nuggets. As for the Heat, I just have the feeling they're going to choke this away. |

Mammoth also won, so they're in the playoffs. At Calgary next Saturday in the first round. We've played two overtime games against that team this year, so it should be a good one. |

Bruins just shut out the Pens 3-0 in Pittsburgh in game 1. nobody seems to be giving them a shot at beating them in the series so this was a great result. Weird how the last four cup winners are in the final four of hockey, and all four are big markets, so that's great for the NHL. It's not the playoffs, but I noticed the Avalanche have the #1 pick in the draft. I bet you Colorado folk are at least a little excited about that. |

Bruins just fiinished off a sweep of the Pens and are headed to the Cup finals. Fuck yeah. Rask only let in two goals all series, and Crosby+Malkin had zero combined points in the series. |

Heat won and the Bruins lost. How shitty. I have nothing against the Blackhawks though, so I'm not super upset. |

Celtics just went full rebuild mode. KG, Pierce, and Doc are gone. About time. Really surprised they got three first round picks out of the nets for three players far past their prime. |

I think Terry has more left than he showed last year. For whatever reason it just didn't work in Boston. As for Pierce and Garnett, I think it just shows that the Nets are trying to win now. Pierce has more in the tank than Garnett but both have something to offer that team. With Deron Williams, Brook Lopez, and Joe Johnson on the roster Terry, Pierce, and Garnett will have a lot more room to score. On a Rondo-less Boston team last year they had to ask a lot more of those old players than the Nets will this season. Also, holy shit Jerry Stackhouse is still alive/on the Nets roster. |
