So Notre Dame finished their regular season undefeated and ranked number 1. Alabama and Georgia are numbers two and three respectively, which makes next Saturday's SEC Championship between the two teams a national semifinal in effect. The winner will be number two and play Notre Dame in the BCS Title game.

If Alabama wins, I predict a final score of 27-10. If it's Georgia, 31-20. Either way Notre Dame fans go home crying. Personally, I expect the Tide to win it all again.

Colorado Mammoth: first game 12/30 @ Buffalo Bandits
Denver Outlaws: defending champs, first game 4/22 @ Charlotte Hounds
Colorado State Rams football: 7-5, next game Idaho Bowl 12/22 vs Idaho Vandals

So many people I know have jumped on the Notre Dame bandwagon. Whoever wins the SEC will crush ND.

Alabama's now going for three out of four national titles, pretty amazing stuff.

My high school football coach is probably happy as fuck (he played at Alabama; his freshman season was Bear Bryant's last national title).

Northern Illinois beat out Oklahoma for a BCS bowl spot. I really hope they win, even though they beat UMass 63-0 this year.

It would definitely be sweet to see FSU lose to a MAC team

McCarron could end up with three straight rings. He's coming back next season.

So San Diego State is staying in the Mountain West along with Boise State, essentially sealing the fate of the Big East as a doomed conference.

The MWC now has 12 permanent schools:
Air Force
#18 Boise State
Colorado State
Fresno State
Hawaii
Nevada
UNLV
New Mexico
San Diego State
#21 San Jose State
#16 Utah State
Wyoming

Three ranked teams and seven bowl teams. That's a tough conference. Now they can have a conference championship game and two divisions.

The conference still might look at expanding to 14 schools, and if that's the case they would likely target BYU (unlikely to give up their independence but possible), UTEP, Houston, Tulsa, etc.

Ha there's a thread for this.

That game was pathetic. Reminded me of the Iron Bowl.
