The Bears' defense is amazing but the rules are stacked against defense these days. Cutler isn't a winner and his team will fold up their tent and go home in the playoffs at the first sign of adversity. This is a quarterback league and Cutler isn't even top ten. He's Jeff George 2.0. All the tools, none of the heart or leadership.
Denver Broncos: defending champs, 8-6, next game 12/25 @ Kansas City Chiefs
Colorado Rockies: 75-87, missed playoffs
Colorado Avalanche: 11-18-1, next game 12/20 @ Minnesota Wild
Denver Nuggets: 12-16, next game 12/20 @ Los Angeles Clippers
Colorado Mammoth: first game 12/30 @ Buffalo Bandits
Denver Outlaws: defending champs, first game 4/22 @ Charlotte Hounds
Colorado State Rams football: 7-5, next game Idaho Bowl 12/22 vs Idaho Vandals
Colorado State Rams basketball: 8-4, next game 12/22 vs Long Beach State 49ers
Winnipeg Blue Bombers: 11-7, lost West Division Semifinal
Denver Pioneers Lacrosse: first game 1/24 vs Johns Hopkins Blue Jays
#2 Denver Pioneers Hockey: 12-3-3, next game 12/30 @ Providence College Friars

This.

Eli is clutch for sure, but he's been a real shitter lately. No doubt he can bring it back, I just don't seem em getting the Packers again. And fuck the 49ers lol

I'm not buying it. I think we've come to a point where, in this season at least, it's less about having an elite QB and more about having the stronger defense, or just having a more complete team in general.

I mean, just look at the QBs in the top teams right now. Matt Ryan? Schaub? Cutler? Alex Smith? If Lewis and Suggs were healthy, that phaggot Flacco would've been in the mix as well. All of those guys play second fiddle to Peyton, Eli, Brady, and co.

If what you said was true, Rodgers would've been leading his team at the top of the NFC North right now and not Cutler because Rodgers is one of those QBs that can carry a team even if there's holes in every other facet of the team.

Now..... about your other post. Honestly, I picture the AFC champion to be a two horse race between the Texans and Broncos. pats haven't been themselves this year and i believe injuries are gonna hamper the Steelers in the next several weeks

The Falcons are overrated. Yes, they're good, but they're not Super Bowl good. If you look at their schedule, they've really only played one tough opponent in Denver, the rest of the competition consisting of KC, Oakland, SD, Washington, Carolina, Philly and Dallas. Those teams are mediocre at best, and the Falcons had 3 games against them decided by 7 points or less. I really don't think they are a top 3 team in the NFL.

Agreed 100%

I think it's clear that while the Falcons can be a good regular season team these guys just don't show up in the postseason and Im guessing the trend will continue

Matty Ice gonna earn his team a bye and then lose his opener. Book it

They have no chance with Kaepernick out there. The dude can't throw.

Broncos, Patriots both 6-3.

This is how I see the AFC:
1. Texans 13-3
2. Broncos 13-3
3. Steelers 11-5
4. Patriots 10-6
5. Ravens 10-6
6. Colts 10-6

Steelers over Colts
Pats over Ravens

Broncos over Steelers
Texans over Patriots
Broncos over Texans
Denver Broncos: defending champs, 8-6, next game 12/25 @ Kansas City Chiefs
Colorado Rockies: 75-87, missed playoffs
Colorado Avalanche: 11-18-1, next game 12/20 @ Minnesota Wild
Denver Nuggets: 12-16, next game 12/20 @ Los Angeles Clippers
Colorado Mammoth: first game 12/30 @ Buffalo Bandits
Denver Outlaws: defending champs, first game 4/22 @ Charlotte Hounds
Colorado State Rams football: 7-5, next game Idaho Bowl 12/22 vs Idaho Vandals
Colorado State Rams basketball: 8-4, next game 12/22 vs Long Beach State 49ers
Winnipeg Blue Bombers: 11-7, lost West Division Semifinal
Denver Pioneers Lacrosse: first game 1/24 vs Johns Hopkins Blue Jays

I see the AFC this way:

1. Houston, 13-3
2. Baltimore, 12-4
3. Broncos, 12-4
4. Patriots, 11-5
5. Steelers, 11-5
6. Colts, 9-7

Patriots over Steelers
Broncos over Colts
Houston over Patriots
Broncos over Baltimore
Houston over Denver

AFC is pretty wide open though. As much as I like the Patriots offense, their defense is horrendous. I still like Houston to win the conference, but even they can look shaky now and then.

Called it. Fuking wizard status

Big Ben is likely out for the rest of the season. The AFC North is now open to be taken by the Ravens. The Steelers had a chance with Suggs and Lewis out but thats effectively out the window now

Hell, even Cincinnati can get hot and make some serious noise

Roethlisberger says he doesn't expect to miss the season. I still think Pittsburgh sneaks in so long as Roethlisberger doesn't miss more than four games.

I'd like to see the Bengals get in there, but losing to Miami and Cleveland may have doomed their season. They really need to fire that head coach.

Had to cut Roethlisberger, but luckily Dalton was available. Not bad for a backup.

I wanted the Broncos to take him in the draft two years ago. I saw him play in college a lot because he played at TCU, which at the time played in the Mountain West along with my two favorite teams (Colorado State and Air Force).

But it all worked out since we got Manning. But still, I think Dalton will be part of the next wave of great quarterbacks, along with Andrew Luck, Matt Stafford (all three are under 25), plus Matt Ryan, Eli Manning, and Ben Roethliberger (27-31). The other great QBs in the league are 33-36 (Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees) and will be gone soon. Schaub and Flacco could still sneak into the elite conversation but it's put up or shut up time for those guys in the next few years.

Schaub threw for 527 yards and 5 touchdowns

Ridiculous

Broncos are 7-3. Hope McGahee is okay.
