It's a fluff piece. Any and all comparisons to Favre are retarded and Cutler will never be a champion. |

Eli Manning yesterday... absolutely unreal. He had 243 yards and 2 TDs in the fourth quarter alone... finished with over 500 yards passing. That's just silly. Anyway, the Denver Peyton Mannings are going to beat the Falcons in Atlanta tonight. I have the Broncos, 49ers, and Texans as the three best teams in the NFL (not necessarily in that order). |

Boy, Peyton sure looks a lot like a guy who hasn't played in a year so far tonight. 3 INT in what, eight minutes? Yikes. |

Tough loss, but the fact that we had four turnovers in a road game against a top opponent and still almost came back says a lot about this team. Peyton isn't going to throw three picks very often. I think we're in good shape in the long haul. Another tough game next week against the Texans. The Broncos sure got a brutal schedule to start: Steelers @Falcons Texans Raiders @Patriots @Chargers |

Patriots signed Kellen Winslow Jr. to a deal today. He's not as good as he was a few years ago, but certainly an upgrade over the remaining TE's on the roster while Hernandez is sidelined. Still can't believe the Patriots lost at home to the Cardinals. Guess that's football for you. And I have to say, their defense is pretty legit, Brady was under pressure the entire game and the running game went nowhere. Kolb still sucks though. |

Texans are the best team in the league but yeah, we've been asscream on third down all year we have a gaping hole at MLB and safety we look fine at corner, outside LB, and along the D line |

You know, I'm upset that the Patriots lost to the Ravens tonight, but at least it was a pretty damn good game. Losing games like that are ok, especially on the road. My problem is that the officials pretty much ruined it. There were so many questionable penalties for both sides that it kind of cheapens the whole thing. Games like this are supposed to prove who the better team is, that's why they are on primetime, that's why we love them. But when the officials get in the way as badly as they do it's impossible to know who should have won and who the better team is. asscream like this ruins the game. I know the old officials weren't perfect but these new guys have got to go. Soon. |

Well the asscreamty calls in the Pats-Ravens game devolved into actually giving the wrong team the win last night. Starting to consider not watching next week, maybe if a bunch of people do that the NFL will get the message. |

The real refs had their ups and downs, but now that we've seen the alternative, they don't seem so bad after all. |

So as it turns out, the guy who (correctly) ruled the Packers/Seahawks play an interception was an Arena League ref, and he was overruled on the play by a high school ref (the one that should have been in position to call the offensive PI and the one who incorrectly called it a TD and gave Seattle the game). Yes, a guy who is a ref in a pro league for a living was overruled by a dude that is a volunteer high school football (and basketball) ref. Edited by famicommander, Thursday Sep 27 2012, 08:39 PM.

Broncos are going to beat the Pats next week. Count on it. It was nice to see them thrash the Raiders. 37-6 and it would have been worse if Demaryius Thomas hadn't fumbled in the open field on a breakaway before anyone touched him. Also had a terrible fake FG attempt. |
