I don't buy the Bills keeping their pace up due to their defense, but I think the Lions are for real this year. |

Annnd the Packers put da burrs down 27-17. Combined with the Alabama win this weekend, it has been a perfect weekend of football for me. |

The Bills have a lot of winnable games left on their schedule: WK 4 @Cincinnati (no way the Bungles win this one) W WK 5 vs Philadelphia (Vick is down again) W WK 6 @New York Giants (they have to lose eventually) L WK 7 BYE WK 8 vs Washington (I don't buy the Skins) W WK 9 vs New York Jets (Jets are better than they played today) L WK 10 @Dallas (lcould go either way, but lol Tony Homo) W WK 11 @Miami (Dolphins are in the running for Luck) W WK 12 @New York Jets (see above) L WK 13 vs Tennessee (the Titans team I saw today was not impressive) W WK 14 @San Diego (could go either way, but the Chargers are usually better late) L WK 15 vs Miami (see above) W WK 16 vs Denver (this one hurts) W WK 17 @New England (no way they do it twice in one year) L I think the Bills have a shot at the playoffs for sure, but I don't expect them to actually contend for an AFC Championship. |

I don't know, after so many years of watching them flounder around, I have a hard time buying them to keep it up for a year. I remember back in '08 they started off 4-0 before being smashed back into reality. This team does seem better, but when we get to the midpoint of the season and they are still playing like this, then I'll believe it. |

Also, the Pitt-Indy game was way too close than it should've been, especially cause fucking Painter was playing for like half the game. Pitt really needs to work on their running game cause Indy had that shit locked down |

You can't win without an offensive line. Just ask the Bears and Broncos. |

Yeah, drafting Cutler is what started the sequence of events that changed the Broncos from perennial contenders to... what they are today. I wish we didn't waste all those draft picks we got for him in the Orton trade. |

Anyway, this season is all kinds of ridiculous. Bills and Lions are 3-0. Vikings and Peyton's team are now Chiefs-tier. I have never seen more injuries than this year's Giants roster. And watch I'll bet the Reds go 3-0 tomorrow. |

Patriots beat the Raiders in Oakland today. Jerod Mayo looks badly hurt, and our already shitty defense would be even worse were he to miss an extended period of time, which sucks. On the bright side, Stevan Ridley had a good day running the ball, and Wes Welker continues to post beastly numbers. |

Lions are now 4-0. That hasn't been a thing since before I was alive. The Cowboys have never blown that big of a lead...until today. Feels damn good to be a Lions fan right now. |

The Lions have to stop digging themselves into such big holes early on, though. They have done it two straight weeks now, and that is not a sustainable way to win football games. Still, they look really good. |

News reports are saying Jerod Mayo has a MCL injury and will miss about a month. That sucks, but at least he'll be back eventually. I feared it was an ACL tear or something, which obviously would have ended his season. And goddammit Baltimore, why are you letting the Jets get back into this game? |

Giants beat the Cards. Jets and Eagles lose (Philly loses to the 49ers lol wtf) and all is right in the world. But someone needs to take the Redskins down if the Giants realistically want to win the NFC East. : ( |

Patriots looked pretty good beating the Jets today, beating them at their own ground & pound style of play. The defense looked a little better, but there is still room for improvement. And how about the Eagles? What a disaster they have turned out to be. |
