Brady, over 500 yards passing, 99 yard TD throw, that's what I'm talking about. |

Orton didn't look good, but neither did the rest of the team. We're weak on the offensive lines, weak at middle linebacker, and weak at defensive tackle. We had 38 rushing yards, a blocked punt, a missed field goal, at least five drops, an interception, 4 fumbles (2 anal bleeding), 4 sacks allowed, 91 penalty yards, and 190 rushing yards against. That's just piss poor football all around. |

Shitty opening week all around. Giants anal bleeding to the Reds and it looks like Eli still has a problem with throwing picks. I swear, picks are gonna kick our ass this year. And on the opening game too smh. We were so bad we made Rex Grossman look good. I laughed when I saw the Steelers get shitted on. Sort of laughed when I found out the Colts got shitted on but they DID play without Peyton and that's like having a sammich without the bread: just a hot MESS. At least they're not the Chiefs. It's a sad day for football when the fucking Bills score 40+ points and the Lions win games |

It is sad that the Chiefs let up 40+ points to the Bills, but I wouldn't call it sad that the Lions won. I think they will actually be pretty good this year if Stafford stays healthy. |

Eli Manning needs a better offensive line, better wide receivers, and a better coach. Manningham and Nicks are both #2 wide receivers at best. |

I think when he's fully healthy, Nicks is a good #1 receiver. But I suppose that is quite the qualification, since he never seems to be fully healthy, ever. |

So some fan are apparently purchasing pro-Tim Tebow billboards now. What the hell is going on with this cult following he seems to be developing? it is borderline creepy. |

People in Denver always want the guy behind the starter to start. When it was Griese, everyone wanted Gus Frerotte. When it was Plummer, everyone wanted Beurlein or Cutler. When it was Cutler everyone hated him, but since we didn't really have a backup we just all complained. But when we traded Cutler, suddenly he was great and it was a dumb move to trade him. Orton's first year everyone wanted Chris Simms, and the last two years everyone wanted Tebow. Broncos fans basically want all quarterbacks to live up to Elway, which is just plain never going to happen. We should never have drafted Cutler. We should have stuck with Jake Plummer, who wanted to stay here so badly that he retired and gave back 13 million dollars in salary rather than play elsewhere. |

I feel bad for Orton. He has the full support of the team, coaches, and even analysts, who all think he is the guy who gives the team the best opportunity to win games. It must suck knowing that despite all that a large segment of the fanbase wants you gone and the guy who is essentially the third string QB to take your job. Orton may be better off in a different situation where he'll be the clear-cut starter, because he certainly is a good QB. Not elite, but far better than some of the bums with starting jobs out there. |

I think he has elite potential. The Broncos had a terrible offensive line, the worst running game in the NFL, the worst defense in the NFL, the worst head coach in the NFL, and no tight ends to speak of. And we anal bleeding Brandon Marshall. Yet, Orton still threw for nearly 3700 yards and 20 touchdowns in 12 and a half games last season. And if you check his numbers, you'll see that he actually improves every season: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyle_Orton#Statistics It will bite the Broncos in the ass if they get rid of Orton. |

http://prod.www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-total-access/09000d5d82246c55/A-Football-Life-Belichick-s-failure Pretty interesting clip from the Bill Belicheck documentary that aired last night, from the Patriots-Broncos game back in '09. I posted the link to this one because it might interest Jason too, but they are all pretty interesting. They are all up on NFL.com, and they should all autoplay, if in incorrect order (but the order doesn't really matter.) Here is the first half in what I believe to be the correct order. http://prod.www.nfl.com/videos/new-england-patriots/09000d5d822469c5/A-Football-Life-Meet-Bill-Belichick http://prod.www.nfl.com/videos/new-england-patriots/09000d5d82246a0a/A-Football-Life-Belichick-s-preparation http://prod.www.nfl.com/videos/new-england-patriots/09000d5d82246b02/A-Football-Life-Belichick-takes-a-trip-down-memory-lane http://prod.www.nfl.com/videos/new-england-patriots/09000d5d82246bac/A-Football-Life-Belichick-s-execution http://prod.www.nfl.com/videos/new-england-patriots/09000d5d82246c55/A-Football-Life-Belichick-s-failure Edited by Cube_of_MooN, Friday Sep 16 2011, 09:42 PM.

Same old Chargers. Move the ball at will, then make stupid mistakes that cost them the game. Tom Brady tearing them up didn't hurt, either. |

Packers won, my week is off to a great start... which I'm sure will end tomorrow lol Cam Newton. Dude will be a beast in a few seasons, after he matures a bit and pulls head from ass. |
