Well well, this should make next season's Patriots-Broncos game much more interesting...

Manning is top five all time. You HAVE to sign him if you get the chance. Elway knows what he's doing.

Now the Broncos need to consider what positions become a priority to improve. Do you send an offer sheet to Mike Wallace, vastly improve your receiving core, but lose a pick and a good chunk of cap space in the process? Or do you focus more on defense and sign a big body like Jeff Saturday to give Peyton some breathing room? I vote all of the above.

I say sign Saturday, Clark, McClain, Trufant, and a less expensive receiver like Braylon Edwards, Ted Ginn, or Lee Evans.

Also get a running back. Either sign Michael Bush or trade for Stewart. Or maybe Cedric Benson.

After that make sure you bring back our own guys. Bunkley, Thomas, maybe Dawkins for one more season.

Shit, it looks like Logan Mankins was playing on a torn ACL during the Super Bowl and perhaps before that. He's one tough motherfucker, hope he's ready for the start of the season.

And as far as the Broncos go, I'd avoid Saturday and Clark, unless you could get them real cheap. Saturday is a fossil and Clark can't stay healthy. But hell, even with what Denver has now, even if Manning is only around 85%, the passing attack will be something to be reckoned with.

Saturday is still a top 5 center. Our center, JD Walton, is possibly the worst starting center in the NFL and easily our worst lineman.

As for Clark, he'll be cheap and you guys signed Fells away from us. We have two young tight ends and Manning wants Clark. Seems like a no brainer.

Looks like the Broncos are talking to CB Tracy Porter. I'd honestly rather they sign him than Trufant, if possible. Porter has recently been with the Saints and was part of their Super Bowl team.

The Saints just got their asses handed to them. Payton gone for a year, the GM gone for half the season, $500k fine, and they lost two second round draft picks.

Michael Bush to the Bears.

Can't wait to see how Cutler crumbles under the higher expectations he'll have this year with Bush and Marshall coming to town. He's a loser, he's a quitter, he's a punk, he's going to fail, and I am going to laugh.

Even with all the additions they've made they're going to be the third best team in their division.

Patriots signed Spencer Larsen from the Broncos.

Really good pick up for the Pats. Larsen is possibly the most versatile player in the NFL (having started games at FB, RB, and inside LB as well as playing very well on special teams).

He isn't a game-changer in that he isn't particularly fast, but he punishes tacklers when he runs, can catch the ball out of the backfield, and is proficient at both run and pass blocking.

Will be interesting to see if the Patriots use him on offense and defense as they have done in the past (Troy Brown, Mike Vrabel among others).

Broncos signed CB Tracy Porter from the Saints.

Great move. Big upgrade from Andre Goodman. Between Porter and Adams our secondary got a lot better than last year, which should in turn help the pass rush. Hopefully Dawkins gives it one more year too, because even as old as he is we really fucking missed him down the stretch last season.

Now we need to upgrade at DT first and foremost. Bunkley is with the Saints and we haven't re-signed Marcus Thomas yet.

We could also use some help at inside linebacker, but beyond that I think our defense is going to be tough.

On offense we still need a center and tight end in the worst way, but we could also use a veteran receiver and #2 RB. McGahee is getting old and Moreno is a bust.

Also a backup QB, since we currently only have Manning and 2011 practice squad player Adam Weber.

But still, we are definitely a better team than we were last year.

Got our tight end.

The Broncos just signed former Houston Texan and Colorado State Ram Joel Dreesen.

Sounds like Jeff Saturday went to Green Bay, though.

Broncos got former Chicago Bears and CSU Rams QB Caleb Hanie to back up Peyton Manning.

He didn't look good packing up Cutler last season, but he's young and he's shown some flashes. Since he went to my favorite school I'm glad they signed him.

Safety Brian Dawkins says he is undecided about whether he will play this year, but if he does it will be for the Broncos.

I hope he plays one more year. He deserves a ring and I think the Broncos will at least have a shot at one this year.

One more deployment, Weapon X.
