Any thoughts on the Tim Tebow situation? |

There is no situation. Orton is the clear starter, Quinn is the clear backup, Tebow is the clear third stringer. That's how the coaching staff sees it, that's how the front office sees it, that's how every analyst sees it, and that's how every intelligent fan sees it. The Broncos fanbase has gone fucking insane. They demand to see Tebow start, but the dude just isn't ready and I don't know that he ever will be. The fans blame Orton for Denver's terrible record last year, completely ignoring the fact that we had the WORST rushing attack in the NFL to go along with the WORST defense in the NFL and a TRAINWRECK of a head coach. Plus we had to start three rookies on the offensive line. Orton and Brandon Lloyd were the only thing that kept the Broncos from going 0-16. I mean, Orton threw for 3,653 yards and 20 touchdowns in 13 games last year. And that's with the other team knowing EXACTLY what we were going to do on every play because we couldn't run the ball. |

For the Pats: Week 1: @ Miami-W (1-0) Week 2: vs. San Diego-W (2-0) Week 3: @ Buffalo-W (3-0) Week 4: @ Oakland-W (4-0) Week 5: vs. NYJ-W (5-0) Week 6: vs. Dallas-W (6-0) Week 8: @ Pittsburgh-W (7-0) Week 9: vs. NYG-L (7-1) Week 10: @ NYJ-L (7-2) Week 11: vs. Kansas City-W (8-2) Week 12: @ Philadelphia-L (8-3) Week 13: vs. Indianapolis-W (9-3) Week 14: @ Washington-W (10-3) Week 15: @ Denver-W (11-3) Week 16: vs. Miami-W (12-3) Week 17: vs. Buffalo-W (13-3) So I predict 13-3, tentatively. This schedule is no cakewalk though, and many of the games I predicted could go either way, ass ram the Pittsburgh, Philly, NYG, Indy, and both Jets games. |

Speaking of Khaaaaaaaaaaan's Giants, they have now lost their first round pick for a while due to injury, their second round pick for the season, their starting CB and leading tackler for the season, and a backup CB for the season. Not a good development for Big Blue. |

Welcome to Denver, circa 2010. In 2009 Elvis Dumervil led the NFL in sacks. He got hurt in the preseason of 2010 and missed the whole year. Plus we were heading into the season with our #1 and #2 running backs (Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter) injured, so we were going to rely on LenDale White in the first few games. And what happens? He ruptures his Achilles in the last preseason game. |

Jesus Christ it sounds like the Broncos have an injury curse comparable to the Avs'. And that's saying something. |

Eagles gave Mike Vick a 6 year, $100 million contract. Guy's on top of the word again, after sinking o low. If he can play like he did last year, he's worth the money, since he was a much better passer last year than in years past. But the odds of him staying healthy are low, so this is a very risky move by the Eagles. |

Stupid move. Vick will fall off greatly this year, even in the off chance that he doesn't get hurt. Last year was the only one in his career where he put up anything resembling good passing numbers and he looked like shit against the blitz. He caught a lot of teams off guard last year and that won't happen again. Plus he got his contract. He's not playing for his financial security anymore; dude was almost entirely broke when he got out of prison. And now that I think about it, a six year deal? He'll be 37 when it's up. No way he lasts that long. |

Just saw this on ESPN: "The sixth year of Vick's contract will void if he plays 35 percent of the Eagles' snaps in any of five preceding years, Philadelphia Inquirer writer Jonathan Tamari reports." That's pretty strange. Guess it makes it a 5 year deal, then. |

Sounds like an injury clause. Probably should be "if he plays LESS THAN 35 percent of the snaps" or something similar. |

4/10. -Arian Foster's health status is currently a question mark. Definitely one of the top running backs when healthy though. -Romo is coming off an injury -Cutler sucks dick -Benson will have a much larger workload with the Bengals starting a young quarterback and losing TO, Chad Johnson. Plus he has off the field issues. -Willis McGahee might have a good year, but he's probably not even getting 40% of Denver's carries this year You look okay at wide receiver and tight end. Defense should be average. |

I project you'll finish somewhere in the middle of the pack. Foster is a big question mark, Benson is mediocre, and your two WR's seem like #2 guys to me. Miller doesn't excite me as a TE either. Now this is a team: QB: Drew Brees RB: Lesean McCoy RB: Darren McFadden RB/WR: Jahvid Best WR: Hackeem Nicks WR: Reggie Wayne TE: Jason Witten D/ST: Falcons K: Kaeding BE: Anquan Boldin BE: Percy Harvin BE: Julio Jones BE: Mike Tolbert BE: Jerome Harrison BE: Ricky Williams BE: Colt McCoy McCoy I picked up as a FA because he had a strong preseason, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was just nothing. Wayne also looks less good with Manning out, but still seems like a good #2 even so. Edited by Cube_of_MooN, Thursday Sep 8 2011, 06:10 PM.
