they're now 6-0 with Lin and heading into a 5 game home stand. Feels good man.

And by last second, I literally mean last second. As in, 0.5 left on the clock. He led the team with 27 points, and he proved that he is clutch, and that he can play without Melo and Stoudemire (he did for 5 of those 6 games).

Lin is legit.

And I found it amusing how there were more Knick fans than Raptor fans up in Toronto lol.

Dude's got to stop turning the ball over, though. He set the points record for five starts alongside the turnover record.

This is especially important for when Carmelo and Stoudemire come back. Those guys don't play any defense at all, so the Knicks can't afford to lose possessions.

Eh I think people are underestimating just how fresh he is. Prior to his breakout game against the Nets, Lin hasn't played for more than eight minutes in a single game of his career, except for one where he played for 20 min.

He's as green as a rookie, and obviously still learning the ropes. I have no doubt that once he gets some more experience under the belt, he'll learn to limit turnovers. And the stamina thing. He's not used to playing these kind of minutes, and he looks dead tired by the 2nd half lol.

That said, while his turnover rate is clearly in the upper half of starting PGs, it's not outlandishly large. In his last 6 games, he averaged about 4.5 turnovers per game, which is about the same as Steve Nash, a little worse than Rajon Rondo, but still better than Russell Westbrook in that same stretch of games.

I watched JR Smith for six years, so a few things:
1. He's a shooting guard. Not gonna help at all inside
2. He plays even less defense than Melo
3. He's a total headcase

Smith is a threat to go off for 40 on any given night, but he's also a threat to go 0/14 from the field with eight turnovers. He's inconsistent, he's lazy, he gets into trouble, and he quits if a coach yells at him.

He made Denver fans tear their hair out the whole time he was here thinking about the player that JR Smith SHOULD be. He is, without a doubt, a top ten talent in the whole NBA. But his top ten talent hasn't even made him a top fifty overall player.

The Nuggets, if they ever get fucking healthy (and Gallo, Nene, and Mozgov will be back soon), are by far the deepest team in the NBA.

4/5: Nene, Al Harrington, Chris Andersen, Timofey Mozgov, Kosta Koufos, Kenneth Faried (rookie)
2/3: Danilo Gallinari, Arron Afflalo, Rudy Fernandez, Corey Brewer, Jordan Hamilton (rookie)
1: Ty Lawson, Andre Miller, Julyan Stone (rookie)

And we will be getting Wilson Chandler back soon. We had two first round picks that don't even see the court.

The Knicks have gotten a huge boost from Lin, but you guys needed a seven game winning streak just to get to .500 in a weak ass Eastern Conference. The Knicks aren't going past the first round.

Smfh Knicks lost to the Hornets. 4-24 shooting beyond the arc would tend to do that lol. It was days like those that the Knicks could've used JR Smith or Carmelo on the floor

But they just beat the defending champions today with JAAAAAAAAAAAYYYSOOOON Terry back on the floor.

JR Smith debuted with 15 points. But holy shit Lin had a career high 14 assists and led the team with 28 points. My boy Steve Novak shot 4 threes in a row in the 4th quarter and finished 4 of 5. Goddamn the Garden was on fire. Feels good to be a Knicks fan right now. 8-1 with Lin
