Hey, remember when you got to see Ray Bourque hoist the Cup as a Bruin? Me neither.

The Bruins have pretty much been by far the worst Boston area team over the past 20 years. Even over the past few years, when they have been pretty decent, they still find ways to fuck up monumentally, like blowing a 3-0 lead versus Philly, losing to Carolina at home in game 7 as a #1 seed, and look at what just happened now, a complete meltdown leads to an inexcusable goal 11 seconds into OT in the finals. Once Bobby Orr's knees died, so did seemingly the franchise as a whole. Bruins insults won't get you anywhere, in fact I welcome them. |

And Boston's defense completely collapses, once again. Chara has looked about as effective as Foote did this season. They better step it the fuck up. |

Bob Essensa is the goal-tending coach for the Bruins. Coincidence? |

Bruins just woped the floor with the Canucks, 8-1. If they can win game 4, maybe they have a shot. |

Series is tied up 2-2 heading back to Vancouver. Thomas has allowed 1 goal in 2 games, while Luongo has let up 12 in the same span. |

Whomever wins this game wins the series. Vancouver obviously can't win in Boston, but if Boston loses game five I don't see them winning two in a row. Game seven in Vancouver would be fucking electric. |

Bruins lost game 5. Even if they lose this series, which seems more likely than not, Tim Thomas pretty much is the finals MVP. I feel bad for him, he is playing so well on a nightly basis but the Bruins either score a lot or don't score at all. |

Well, game 7 it is. The Bruins are going to need t find a way to get that offense on the road if they are going to win the cup. I bet the NHL is happy, since the ratings for this one are going to be huge. |

I had the misfortune of cockgobbleing Game 6 on a plane, with the satellite signal cutting in and out. Despite that, it was exciting to see that pretty much every other passenger was cockgobbleing the game too. I can handle the bandwagoners, so long as the NHL starts getting as much attention as the NBA. And man, cockgobbleing Luongo get pulled again.. was that some poetic justice or what? EDIT: lol Edited by Brokemon, Tuesday Jun 14 2011, 07:11 PM.

The fact that he was pulled less than ten minutes into game 6 after critiquing Thomas for his aggressive style was just too perfect. Thomas has outplayed him, and he knows it, so he should shut his trap.

Well, I have to take back everything bad I ever said about this team. They had more heart than I thought they did. Stanley cup champs baby! Boston, the city of champions. Since 2001, 3 Super Bowls, 2 World Series wins, 1 NBA Title, and now 1 Stanley Cup. |

That is how Canadians roll. -- I woke up this morning to the news that Vancouver lost in a 4-0 shutout. I just lol'd when my GF told me. Guess this means that the Jets are going to have to redeem Canada. |
