You can get $10 a pound for recycling Pentium 4s.

So the mobo is suspect and thus a no go(unless you just want it for what ever). It gets power but does some strange stuff when booted to a PE disc. Since black friday sales are soon, I'll probably upgrade my work PC(which is my old gaming rig) and give you the left overs. Parts are a Athlon 64 3700(which is better than the P4), 2GBs of Corsair DDR400 XMS Pro(they have lights on em hooray!) a Asus mobo, Radeon X850XT PE 256(best AGP card evar), and a 500w PSU. Of course this all hangs on if I upgrade my work PC.

@Slayer: Yeah... I think you might be the only tech nerd out there with a box full of P4's.
@SGS: You are really the fucking man. I highly appreciate that you are even spending time testing this shit for me, let alone sending it to me free of charge (not counting shipping, which I will cover). I owe you big time no matter if you send me shit or not. I really, really fucking appreciate it.

My "highly-priced" P4 still hasn't come yet, but should soon (and will help improve the performance of the sorry excuse of a computer I have). Though, with Muramasa in the house, and my girlfriend having convinced me to get a red Wii for us for Christmas, the PC isn't a high priority at the moment. Even though I would love to be able to play Minecraft at better than minimum settings, its still a fantastic game. That, and I want to start building my own Mario-styIe platformer.

Whatever, you guys are the best.[cleft=darkslategray][/cleft][cright=black][/cright][pleft=white][/pleft][dl=black][/dl]

I've thrown away or recycled about a hundred times more than I have kept.

Check out http://www.downloadmoreram.com/downloading.html to get more RAM for free. Instant downloads with no waiting.

They don't have DDR, but you can use DDR2. I just tried it on my old DDR P4 desktop and it let me download the DDR2 without any problems. I'm downloading another 4GB right now!

I'm up to like 400GB of memory on this old desktop. It's super fast now.

I emailed that link to several of my good clients. Based on the reply emails I received, my faith in humanity is at an all time low. Only a few were smart enough to understand that RAM doesn't work that way. The rest fell for it, and one asked if it is a free download on this site then why do we charge to come onsite and charge for labor and parts?
