He's going to distribute an altered version of Dawin's Origin of Specias where is apparently debunks the theory, explicitly lays out how Hitler loved evolution, and then presents an "unbiased" view of Creationism in 50k universities across the nation.

Here is some Russian girl's reply:

Also known as helium_flash
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." --Thomas Jefferson
"A Government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take away everything you have." --Thomas Jefferson
"The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries." --Winston Churchill

The new preface is already online. It's hilarious. There's one part where they basically say that since jets don't become more complex on their own, evolution doesn't exist.

If one of the people is on my campus, I'm thinking about taking one of the books, ripping out the preface and handing it back to them, and saying "thanks".

We just have to remember that only stupid people take Cameron seriously. And fortunately, there are more smart people than stupid people. Or at least, there are smart people in the right places. Because if there wasn't, evolution would have been completely removed a while ago. This new "preface" is meaningless.

ZOMgitscriss' comments on the constitution are wrong, that and her excessive use of the phrase "hella" made that video hard to watch.

That the rights of U.S. citizens are derived from the constitution and, by extension, its authors. This is not the case.

rights only exist if people respect them, and they have to be given by others in a governmental sense

No creator has given any rights, because there were no creators. Unless you mean your parents, which would just be other people.

The thing is, the rights of U.S. citizens are described by the nation's founders as "inalienable" and extant from a source external to the government. Whether or not that source is a deity or derived from a philosophy is never officially established within the U.S. government. What is clear is that they do not proceed from the government and cannot be curtailed by the government.

Pursuant to that philosophy, the constitution is a document of restriction against the government. That is, it specifically outlines the powers of the government and in some cases explicitly prohibits certain powers from government use. This is why government employees, myself included, have to swear an oath to abide by the constitution and no other citizen does.

I know they say that the rights are inalienable, and that it comes from something external from government. But unfortunately, without government and the consent of the rest of the people, the rights would simply not be there. If it wasnt for the founders who started a government in the first place, we may not have anything close to what we have.

I think when she said that, she meant where the rights logically come from, and that is other people.

We would still have them, they would just be trampled on. Governments are supposed to provide for the security of rights. That's the only good reason to have a government in my mind. Well, that and providing subsidies to wool research and development laboratories.

youd have to empirically prove that rights exist for me to be of that school of thought.
A priori concepts arent my thing

Well, do you have the right to defend yourself from the threat of death or harm?
