Possible trojan/virus risk; UPDATE: Likely false positive.

Jukebox Hero Posts: 7,498 Group: Admins Member #1 Joined: Jul 24, 2008	It has been brought to my attention that there is a possible virus/trojan risk in relation to one of the in-page advertisements on this site. I have contacted Zetaboards and am waiting for a reply. In the meantime, follow these steps: 1. Use antivirus and antispyware if you're on Windows. Duh. 2. If you're running a dual boot with Ubuntu, OSX, or another Unix-like OS (and I know at least half a dozen of you are), use that OS to visit The Board for awhile. There is no risk for anyone not running Windows. 3. Use a secure browser. Either Opera+urlfilter.ini (read: here or Firefox+NoScript and Adblock Plus. Avoid Internet Explorer at all costs. I'm going to keep this open for discussion. Thanks to Slayer706 for bringing this up. His Avast Antivirus gave him a warning whilst browsing the Hulk Hogan thread. If anyone else's antivirus program reports anything, let us know about it here. Edited by famicommander, Friday, 6. November 2009, 00:54.
