But this is an intervention.

Have you any idea how many people you're hurting with your constant re-releasing of your handhelds? You have a problem. An addiction. And until you get help, you're no longer welcome here:

Yes, another version of the DSi. With 4 inch screens.
Kyle Orton (8-4) in 2009: 229/369 (62.1%), 2627 yards, 14 TD, 7 INT, 3 fumbles (2 lost), 0 rushing TD, 88.2 QB rating
Jay Cutler (5-7) in 2009: 261/421 (62.0%), 2814 yards, 17 TD, 20 INT, 8 fumbles (1 lost), 1 rushing TD, 75.3 QB rating

Are you fucking kidding me? They JUST released the DSi over here, and now they're making ANOTHER one with bigger screens?

Maybe it's a good thing I didn't dump the phat DS just yet...

(Also, that link has a 64DD and a hell of a lot of characters I can't read. Damn monolinguality!)

Still, I keep tabs on occasion because, deep down, I started as a Nintendo fan and still am to some extent. They still have some great games to offer. But I'm just not sure about their hardware direction at times...

Yeah. I don't care really. As long as they release good games they can release whatever they want.

But I guess this will replace the DSi, kinda how Nintendo replaced the GBA SPs with a new version that had a brighter screen.

I also feel burned on the GBA SP because mine is a front-lit one, not a back-lit one (the brighter screen model). It results in some very annoying glare with the light on, and the difference is clear if you put it next to a DS or anything else that uses a backlit LCD.

(At least I don't feel burned for having an early-model Wii. Actually makes some homebrew-related things MUCH easier...)

I don't think releasing a different color qualifies as "burning early adopters".

Nintendo has been very good about their home consoles. It's the handhelds that are the issue.

I only bought a Lite. That's probably all I'll ever get. It plays New Super Mario, Sonic Rush, Nanostray, Contra 4, Metal Slug 7, Castlevania and all my GBA games.

I don't want any more games for DS or GBA. I'm happy with the games I have.

Problem there is DSi-enhanced and DSi-exclusive games. They're coming,
Kyle Orton (8-4) in 2009: 229/369 (62.1%), 2627 yards, 14 TD, 7 INT, 3 fumbles (2 lost), 0 rushing TD, 88.2 QB rating

Hang on. Since there will be DSi exclusive games, does this mean that this is Nintendo's legit nextgen handheld? Or at least, pseudo-nextgen?

DSi is to DS what Game Boy Color was to Game Boy.
