Anyways I do take some of the blame since I didn't buy it, but Dead Space has never interested me.

If people wanted to play it, they'd rent it... also, they bastardized the core gameplay mechanic of the original. I don't mind rail shooters. I bought House of the Dead Overkill, I'm going to buy Sin and Punishment 2. But those games were always on rails. I won't buy a game that makes me feel like a second rate gamer just because it's on Wii.

Seriously developers need to cut this shit out, the wii is perfectly capable of playing modern style games on weaker graphical engines 2) If you dont advertise, dont expect shit. this has been the story for all the charity games N-consoles have been getting. they put a game on the system, dont tell anyone about it and then say that you cant sell third party games on a nintendo console. 3) its deadspace, and it sucks eventually im gonna pick up a wii, but i absolutely will not go anywhere near any rail shooter. whats going to happen is: lazy developer teams are going to say "oh our shitty rail shooters arent selling, so we cant bring anything else to the console"

I mean, the idea of necromorphs is cool, but there's so little variety amongst them. "Okay, so, this one's like a person, but it's got really long arms with bone blades on them!" "Okay, so, this one's like a person, but it's got one REALLY big arm that can explode!" "Okay, so, this one's like a person, but it's got a big STOMACH and it's glued to a wall!" And then of course, the uber versions of the monsters that are just the exact same monster but a darker shade of brown. And then there's the bosses. Or, to be more honest, the giant tentacles. Because that's what every single one of them is. When your FINAL BOSS is a series of tentacles, you know you suck at coming up with bosses.
