Basic Member Posts: 241 Group: Members Member #48 Joined: Oct 1, 2008	I just got my first taste of Borderlands, and I'm all but sold...only problem is, I only have US$30 to spend and the game costs US$45 at the least. Well, two problems, actually-everyone else I know in-person with the game plays it on X360. Including my game design teacher. A lot of people here seem to be looking at that version, too. And it cuts me off because I'm getting the PC version, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. (Even if the interface still has some shortcomings, such as having to use Page Up/Down to scroll certain messages or not getting gamepad icons if anyone just so happens to feel like playing with a gamepad, despite the whole interface being usable with nothing more than my X360 pad. They should take a page from Bioshock-two different interfaces for two very different control schemes.) Why can't we have more of these games with cross-platform multiplayer? I mean, Quake III Arena's Dreamcast port would let you in with PC players to some extent, from what I heard...what's stopping them from doing it now?
