MLB Playoffs start tomorrow. Here are the match ups: Twins/Yankees Red Sox/Angels Rockies/Phillies Cardinals/Dodgers What do you think? I think the Rockies take the Phillies and the Cardinals take the Dodgers. Then the Rockies advance to the World Series, because they fucking own the Cards. The AL is wide open. The Twins are on an epic run, the Yankees are strong, the Angels are the most complete, and the Sox have been there before. So I dunno. |

Game one isn't over yet, but the Rockies have already been hosed on THREE easy calls on the basepads. It's absolutely ridiculous. |

Are you liking the Rockies position, tied 1-1 with two games at home coming up?

I am, for sure. It's getting cold here and Pedro Martinez is pitching game 3. Also, the Rockies trash right handed pitching. Especially at home. Helton, Stewart, Gonzalez, Hawpe, Giambi... The idea is to split on the road and win out at home. I see the Rockies doing that, and taking the series in 4 games. |

I didn't know Don Orsillo was one of the commentators in this series. He does most of the Red Sox games on NESN. |

He's given the Angels two hits and making Lester throw. And the plays weren't even close either time. If they are fucking up the Rockies series too, I hope we don't have to start expecting shitty umpiring throughout the playoffs. |

Yesterday: 1. Yorvit Torrealba threw out a guy a second. They called him safe. 2. A Rockies player was called out at third base. He was safe. 3. Two calls were missed at first base that would have resulted in Rockies' hits |

The umps definitely stole a run from the Angels too. Dude was safe sliding into third. But the Angels got the win, 5-0. |

Yeah they did blow that call too. But the Sox offense sucked so bad that none of the calls really mattered. You can't win with a zero spot on the board. |
