That's why I'm still calling this a first draft. I still may change it up later to make it look more like something that actually came out of a cyberpunk movie. In the end, I want people to say that the nexus 6 IS cyberpunk, not that it's BASED on cyberpunk. because of that, the actual cab is going to be covered in machine parts and shit. pvc pipe, hoses, pneumatic components, biomechanical experimentation. I'm going balls to the wall. Once I decide where I'm going to put it, I'm thinking about making it look like it's attached to the wall somehow...

I have the capability of adding an intro video before the frontend starts up so I could do something cool with that. I could also do some cool shit with the windows boot screen. I'm thinking I could put like little LEDs and shit all over it and maybe even engrave the plexiglass that I'm putting on top of the overlay to make it look like circuitry.

I've got work in the morning so I'm tapping out but I got the exact measurements for a ms. pacman machine, modified them to fit my monitor and created a template in photoshop. I'll work on it more after I get home from work tomorrow.

I removed that licensed image in replace of one that I kind "frankensteined" together (2 different biomechanical images melded into one.) I also removed the texture from the lettering and replaced it with a glow effect. Finally, I lessened the gap between the top and bottom sections of the text to closer emulate the actual blade runner font. before: after:

Too amateur photoshop looking imo after staring at it for a whole day. I replaced it with a nice bit of smoke. That takes care of the empty spot where the grid was as well as the empty spot in the bottom left corner. That and it's pretty cool how the color of the smoke coincides with the surrounding images.

The more I look at that version, the more I like it. btw, I actually got to play on a Ms. Pacman/Galaga "class of 1981" machine at the movie theater today! I love the size of the cabinet and actually, the angle that the monitor is installed at is pretty damn nice. I don't think it's going to be an issue to leave the monitor angle at the factory spec.
