Why do 360 games restart when you reconnect to xbox live?

Darth Shredder Posts: 3,370 Group: Members Member #43 Joined: Sep 27, 2008	I was in the middle of a game and my connection dropped so I reconnected while playing a game. Theres really no reason why this should be a problem, but it took me right back to the main menu and i have to start over from where I saved. Whats the logic behind this?

Just signing onto xbox live while playing a game shouldnt do anything like that, logically speaking. and it was bioshock. it happened with re5 too i think, so this is an xbox software issue.
