Plan Chameleon likely deserved the hysterical laughter it received from Tenji's vice captain. It was likely the first time for this to happen as well. The rooster of a subordinate was always laughing at inappropriate times. But, really, Plan Chameleon was just "masquerade in high-grade gigais and see what dirt can be dug up with the least amount of effort." Well, at least, that's what Tenji's role in the plan was. In his opinion, though, he had the far more irritating task of the two: He had to deal with Kazuko and Shinji.

Wearing the same gigai as he had before the last time he visited this quaint shop, the tactics captain casually made his way to the front door. It was midnight and the only people out at this hour were typically those up to no good. Tenji could easily be counted among them. He also couldn't care less if he was absolutely sneaky about all of this. By his estimation, even if he was spotted breaking into this place, who would care? And if someone did care... he was a fucking Shinigami. What could they do? No, Tenji gave this part in the operation only token sneakiness. He would simply go about picking the lock and look through place. While hardly a fraction of the subtlety he could muster, at least it was better than kicking the door in and trashing the place to get what he wanted.

What did he want? His goddamn investigation results he hired Kazinji to do. Even if there was nothing to recover, he could always wait for one to arrive. If he was already here when they arrived, they couldn't exactly try and dart off. Of course, he had other interests in this place as well. With Kazuko a captain, Shinji would likely be alone more often which would allow Tenji to try and pry some more information out of him. Information on what? Well, the investigation, of course... but also just what the hell Kazuko was assigned to that forced this investigation to fall back on him. Either way, this was the best first move to make.

Unsurprisingly, this place hardly had a security system. It was just a lock. Understandable, though. When you're a being far above that of humans, why waste your time with increased security measures? Unfortunately for them, this night a far more grand being was the one who wanted in. But at least Tenji was being sporting about it, going in such a mundane fashion and in a human puppet no less. A pin here, a twist there, and within seconds the familiar popping sound could be heard. The lock was opened.

"Now then, if I was carelessly-gathered information where would I be?" Tenji muttered to himself as he shut the door behind him and locking the door. "Likely nowhere..."

Tenji went about the snooping around in a lazy fashion. He looked at the tops of counters, opened drawers and looked under rugs. He didn't really expect to find much but he imagined some clues to his many questions rested somewhere. And if nothing could be found, he could always pump whichever of the two-headed beast arrived here first. Taking another drag from his cigarette, Tenji eyed the no smoking sign Kazuko flashed at him the other day. It was now his ash try.

It had been almost a week since Shinji and a handful of his select arrancar had staged a prison break in Seireitei. Well two days to be more accurate, which was how long into the week of healing it usually took Kazuko to get over her partner's antics. How many times had she greeted his most dastardly plans with a chilling silence, the facial expression of repressed violence and tensed hands her only gives that she wanted to show him just how she felt with physical displays of pain and punishment? Her stormy and capricious temper was something the hollow would usually shrug off, as her moods came and went as fast as their periods of divide.

But this time felt a little different. For one when Shinji had tried to climb into their shared bed in the office of Hot Everything he had been greeted with a wall of pillows occupying his space. Beside the bed someone had been thoughtful enough to lay out one dingy sheet and one of the worse off pillows. You know the one; thin, featherless, and useful only when piled on two of its brethren. And if the Inji had plans to talk it out with Kaz the following morning, her conspicuous early rising halted any morning reconciliation. For the rest of the day and the following one Shinji could get nothing but the woman's back, her shoulders and ass the only receptionists to his entreaties that came in the form of casual conversation starters. And though Kazuko seemed to have no time for Shinji, his guard had not been let down; there was no way whatever had her so riled up wouldn't try and take itself out on the beautiful face of his daytime alias: Samsara.

This vigilance coupled with less than ideal sleeping arrangements was why Samsara was wide awake and entering the shop right as Tenji's search for results heated up. The only thing he'd find in that cupboard there would be tasteless nudes of Michiko, sold to help bolster the bottom line of the "quaint shop". Instead a monstrous yawn leapt from the awning mouth of the young "woman" as the eyes on the gigai squeezed shut to accommodate the universal signal for exhaustion. Had his dastardly machinations been worth these sleepless nights on the floor? Shinji was beginning to wonder.

Wait.. The eyes snapped open once again as the gravity of the invasion sunk in. Why was a bloke who looked decidedly like the 7th Division Captain rifling through their anything but organized files? Silently (though a very loud yawn had just escaped the now wary store owner) Samsara padded up behind the intruder all cat-like, so as to see what they were up to. If it was the pictures the lecher wanted, there would be hell to pay.

The list of things she disliked about the Gotei was substantial, two days into her reinstatement and she was already pining for her rogue days, the times in which she answered only to herself. In those days, things were simpler in some ways. For one thing, no one was judging her and she didn’t have a name to uphold. It was so like Shinji to wait until Kazuko had been returned to glory before he went and broke her stride. She wouldn’t have cared had he slapped around a Captain, she wouldn’t have given a damn had he blown a Division house off the face of Seireitei, out of all the dastardly deeds he could accomplish, she could find a way to forgive them. However, a line had been crossed. Sand thrown in her eyes, the wily ways of deception used and abused to make a fool out of her, this was something two days couldn’t heal away.

So. Kazuko had made a few changes to the home and store she had once co-owned with a friend. The ‘Inji,’ of the door sign had been scrubbed out, the face of the turncoat defiled, each sporting a unique style of moustache, some with mono brows and some with monocles. Pictures of the pair together, ripped down the middle to separate them. Kazuko had filled the empty and cold side of the bed with pillows. There was no cold shoulder like a Kazuko cold shoulder.

It was really the lesser evil. Should she stick around in the mornings to engage Shinji in conversation, the gigai-d Judas would soon find a porcelain vase smashing into his face. Following by a lamp. Followed by a chair. Followed by a table. Followed by a cat.

Tonight, Kazuko had been roused from her bed, not by the sounds of an intruder, but by her finding herself in the mood for some fucking milk. While she was in the store, Kazuko always adorned her ‘Michiko,’ doppelganger and it was in this familiar guise that she descended the creaky stairs to the shop floor after hearing a whole bunch of rummaging. She didn’t appear to be in any hurry though, the scent of smoke reached her soon after the sounds, whether it was or wasn’t Tenji, she knew she could handle it.

Once she came to dark in the doorway behind the desk, Kazuko’s eyes narrowed in on the smaller, distinctly female form standing in the middle of the floor.

“Ti’fuck is this shit?!” Growling lowly, Kazuko took a sip of her milk before slamming the glass down on the cluttered counter top. To hell was she going to sit around and have another one of her domains infiltrated by another sonofabitch! First, she sprung up from behind the desk, crossing the floor towards Samsarashinji with a speed that said she was going to run her into the ground. Once she had well and truly invaded Samsara’s personal space, Kazuko leaned backwards for a moment to gain momentum as she thurst her upper body and her head forwards and downwards, bending her knees to crouch so that she could smash a midgets skull with her own.

The yawning was more than enough to alert Tenji to the presence of another. So this place also served as their home, eh? Tenji did not really consider that possibility. Shitting where you eat, he thought, was reserved for pigs. Perhaps he overestimated the duo. Of course, they could have just been sleeping because they were working so hard and wore themselves out to the point of exhaustion. Hah! Oh, Tenji... you're so funny. Even that thought brought a smirk to his lips, forcing the cigarette to turn upward.

The smirk soon fell, though, as he came across the stash of gigai pornography. The look he gave the photos were those he gave Kazuko whenever she managed to disappoint him... which was quite often. An upturned eyebrow reflecting dead eyes and a tired expression. (see squiggly avatar face for best example) At the least, the photo answered whether the carpet matched the drapes... at least in regards to her human puppet. Either way, it was certainly a fact Tenji could have lived without ever knowing about.

He seemed to pay little mind to fem-Shinji padding his way toward him and continued to peruse through one of the drawers. Though, once he was clearly too close to ignore Tenji deigned to give him a passing glance before shutting the drawer and opening the one just below it.

"Even in that ridiculous form, Shinji, I am afraid I remain uninterested," Tenji uttered as he tapped some loose ash away and continued to leaf through a manila folder. "Though, I am flattered, nonetheless."

Plucking out yet another folder and leafing through it, he turned to face the man in the female doll. The look could be read as horribly dismissive as if the woman did nothing to interest him. A blow to any woman's fragile ego, to be certain. Eventually, though, he did put the file down to fully regard his old comrade...

"Now, if you would hand over whatever you two have learned regarding Tatti's death, I would be most appreciative," Tenji said. "And if you wouldn't mind, I'd like to know what it is dearest Kazuko has been forced to che-..."

“Ti’fuck is this shit?!”

"Ah. Kazuko. Perfect," Tenji began, showing one of his insincere, polite greeting smiles. "It looks like I can find out direct-..."

Again, the tactics captain was interrupted by his reinstated comrade. Though, this time it was a far more flashy interruption. Glass shards flew and Kazuko's puppet darted at Shinji's... and then came a headbutt. Tenji could really do little else but wait for this spat to end. So, he resumed leafing through a file...

The viciousness of the headbutt forced the much smaller of the two into a crouch, so that for a moment Shinji seemed to be kneeling at the fight of his former mentor. Thankfully it was momentum that bowed our hero and not the adverse repercussions of Kazuko's head, as the purple haired would-be sneak was able to get one palm up to receive the brunt of the sudden and uncalled for move. That illusion of subordination soon bled away as the crouch transitioned to a sweep at the much taller Michiko's legs. If the trunk was cleared then the tree would have no choice but to fall right? The audacity of her partner to attack in such a way sent Shinji mentally reeling, but it was his natural instincts, and yes the flexible proportions of Samsara that allowed him a counter attack so quickly on the heels of the first strike.

Now a line had been crossed. For the longest these two had nothing but each other to rely upon when the Gotei threw them out on their asses. Theirs had been a symbiosis that spanned centuries and until she had been recalled and Shinji's origins revealed to him, and it was odd that all of a sudden she chose to be a team player. What was odd was for once the team she chose was not "Kazinji's". If the other Divisions had been in charge of the Nest of Maggots, if Shinji had been enlisted in one of the other Divisions at some point, hell he still knew how to enter each house he would have struck somewhere else make no mistake. It wasn't, he hadn't been, and he couldn't recall where the other houses were much less enter them, and so the hit had come down to his old stomping grounds: the 2nd Division.

Could she blame him for taking advantage of the situation? Apparently. At least Tenji had known better than to interrupt this matter and instead focused on rifling through their intimate files. Ever the gentleman (he even turned down Shinji before the thought crossed the Arrancar's mind) he would keep himself busy while Shinji whipped Kazuko back into shape. He hardly recognized the violent giant that assailed his gigai in the middle of the night.

Forgiveness was a skill that Kazuko had never been able to conquer, for some she may have seemed to turn a blind eye to their shenanigans, but it was so very easy to forgive those that meant little to you. She could forgive insubordination of her Division members, she could forgive them their follies and their failures as easily as she forgave the humans for their frailty. For Shinji, Kazuko could neither forgive or forget. She was neither fooled nor distracted by the feigned submission of her enemy (n’yes), instead Kazuko drove the rest of her body forwards with the arc of her head butt, kicking up off of the ground and into the hand Samsara had offered up to balance her, leaving no roots for Samsara to upturn. What was her aim? Well Kazuko hadn’t really spent the hours required to fully plan out how her reunion with Shinji would go, following his betrayel. Unfortunately, sitting around in a dimly lit room, muttering and making voodoo dolls of her enemies wasn’t something she had the patience for. Instead, Kazuko figured she would just keep flying at Samsarashinji until her mind offered a more practical solution. Hers wasn’t a practical mind though, so she could be here all damn night. Shinji had a lot to answer for.

Once her aerial form had reached the half-way point of her flip, Kazuko pushed off of Samsara and spiralled into a display case of ‘Kazinji,’ goods. Her time there was short, she was only using it to turn herself around so that she could fly into Samsara again, like the ball in a pinball machine. Her second strike was just as unsophisticated as her first, once she collided with Samsara again, Kazuko proceeded to latch onto her back. Yes, it would surely make for an amusing image, a giant riding the back of a midget. Well Shinji could run her into the wall all he wanted, but Kazuko wasn’t going to budge. Such could be confirmed from the sheer power behind the python like grip her legs had around the midgets abdomen. Her arms locked around Samsarashinji’s fat head, she needed something to hold onto to keep form flopping back onto the floor. Not that it would be a big drop…but y’know. With all her limbs busy, it left only her gnashing jaws able to do any damage to the rat bag, and seeing as she had been acting with the same style and ‘grace,’ of a Zaraki civilian, Kazuko continued the trend with a feral bite to the shoulder.

Of course, she still thought she could talk at the same time. “WHA’R’EWE’DO’N’ERE?!” It was her understanding that Shinji had new friends, new, hollow like friends with masks and number tattoos. It was those friends that he had taken to the Nest of Maggots. Kazuko had simply followed the example, Shinji fitted the mould of Rey so easily, he played his part and he played for his team. So, Kazuko did the same. She became a team player for a side that detested her, but she hadn’t really had any other option. Surely he didn’t expect her to take this heinous act lying down? If so, his becoming an Arrancar had really skewed his mind. Kazuko didn’t take kindly to being mocked, the fact that Shinji had at one time been as important to her as her own arm did little to quell the anger. Well. It had been easy for him to fit into his new role, so why should it be any different for her?

Now. They were enemies and Shinji had made it as such.

Tenji was quickly becoming to feel like a third wheel as he often did when near these two. Rarely had the Shinigami ever been around the the duo where he didn't feel like he was serving even less purpose than background music to the ongoing escapes of Kazinji. Not that Tenji minded exactly. Being a focal point of either one of these two -- or worse, at the same time -- was never a desirable position to be in. Still, one could not help but feel at least partially insulted. Here he was, the incredible Tenji, and these two were having some faux lesbian brawl in what seemed to be the kitchen. Or was this dining room? Tenji could never really tell when visiting the dwellings of paupers. Still, he had a job to do...

"Please, do not stop on my account," Tenji began as he ashed onto the no smoking sign once again. "However, and I hate to ask a refined woman such as yourself to speak with her mouth full, dearest Kazuko, but I remain with questions that really need to be answered."

The amount of implied insults in that line were simply too many to count. While fundamentally a perfect verbal jab, Tenji was soon inwardly-saddened at the thought that the remark would not receive the deep appreciation it deserved. He suddenly found himself longing for Rin at his side. If Tenji somehow managed to recollect half of this scene, perhaps he would retell it to her. If there was one thing he could always depend on Rin for it was to laugh at his quips. Truthfully, though, the manic girl laughed at anything. But on this particular line she would surely laugh as a direct result. Anyhoo... Tenji waited patiently to be recognized and get this question-and-answer session out of the way. The longer he was here, the worse it was for these two. Already the tactics captain was putting several pieces to this domestic violence case together.

Fact #1: Kazuko was exceedingly upset with Shinji. This was, of course, not a new occurrence. However, the fact she went so far as to scratch out his name and deface images of him showed that Shinji, this time, had done something far more grievous than usual.

Fact #2: As of two days ago, the two appeared to be relating to each other quite well. Thus, Shinji must have done something from between now and the time of the Commodore's party -- something incredibly insulting to Kazuko.

Possibly-related information: Something occurred between the time of the party and the next afternoon causing Kazuko to take on a new task, forcing the investigation to fall onto Tenji.

Conclusion: N/A Need more information.

Suspicion: The events are related.

"You feck!" Any thoughts of a quick reconciliation hastened by the velocity of Samsara's fist were squelched as the ropey limbs of Michiko wrapped around her mid-section. Submission moves? Shit was getting real. A backpedal into the wall was expected and a fall backwards was a given; so the smaller of the two women, and the de facto "steed" would have to go forwards. For the first few moments when Michiko had wrapped herself about the other Shinji felt the thin limbs of his gigai waver and buckle, the stress of her own womanly gifts almost too much for the lower half. With the last of her balance Samsara pitched forward so that bent at an awkward angle she would be able to bash the head of Michiko into the hard hard floor of their SHARED store, yanking her neck out of the bestial grasp of the other while tucking her chin in, so that nothing stood as an obstacle in the others return to the ground.

"WHATCHUMEAN...MAHSTORETOO" The words were muffled, impeded by the strategically placed arm of his partner, but the point was clear. Shouldn't Kazu be off plotting against him with her new friends that would have hunted down her former partner at the drop of a hat? Was Tenji's presence -expected- while Shinji was a pariah inside his own store? No, the smoke covered bastard who was leafing through their files was as much of an afterthought as ever, the only thing of concern right now was the forgetful leech attached to her back. Said leech was about to be reminded of who wore the pants in this duo should her head contact.

At first she relished in the teetering and fumbling of her ill equipped perch but as the shorter of the two veered back and then leaned forward as if with every intention of eating the floor, Kazuko relinquished her bite on the meaty shoulder of the woman and leaned backwards, as if trying to return Samsara to some semblance of balance. While this was partly true, she was also reaching back to pick up a vase from the nearby display case, the same vase, while it would have been perfect for smashing into Samsara’s face, it was destined to fly through the air towards the smoking fool invading her file cabinet.

“STOP THAT TENJI!” Did he have any idea of how rude it was for him to leaf through all their private files and details?! She doubted he was interested in the finer details of Kazinji’s takings and net profit, so he was clearly looking for something else.

Her attempts at fighting gravity were admirable, but the top heavy Samsara wasn’t easily counter balanced by the lesser Michiko. This called for something different. Kazuko decided to use the opportunity Samsara had offered her to its full potential. With her bite surrendered, Kazuko too released the grip she had on Samsara’s neck and instead moved both hands to push down on her back. Well if she wanted to face smash the ground so badly, Kazuko wouldn’t stop her…

“AH THOUGHT YOU WERE TOO BUSY WITH YOUR ARRANCAH FRIENDS!” If there was any consolation to be found for Samsara, Kazuko would definitely get some pretty wicked bruises on her knees from hitting the floor so hard. Well, probably not as wicked as the mess that would manifest itself on Samsarashinji’s money maker. Usually, Kazuko would protect her product, but not this time. Samsara’s face would no longer be used to help peddle the stores goods. Now! Only Kazuko’s scowling face would adorn their goods.

This was a shiny new era of solo Kazu.

Unsurprisingly, Tenji did not so much as twitch when any demands were screamed his way. However, the flying vase did demand some attention. Thankfully, he was already holding a shield: the stack of papers in his hands. The Shinigami quickly held the stack taut with his hands on opposite sides at the flying object. When the vase connected, it made more of a "thunk" than a crash as it somewhat bounced off the papers and fell to the floor where it shattered.

Tenji then resumed his reading. He was assigned a task and this task he would complete. Besides, if nothing else, the information was rather entertaining. While hardly of any use to him, who is to say he couldn't use it later... likely against the two. Tenji was certainly not above blackmail or holding things over one's head. No, as one might expect, the tactics captain would use any means available to get what he wanted. Besides, Tenji, too, was a businessman in the mortal realm. Nothing nearly on the up-and-up as this, though. What sort of operation did he have going? Well, that's a detail to be revealed another time. Or never. Likely never.

“AH THOUGHT YOU WERE TOO BUSY WITH YOUR ARRANCAH FRIENDS!”

This, however, did raise an eyebrow from the detached Shinigami. While it did not exactly confirm his suspicion, it did certainly cap off Fact #1. So, that explains why this time Kazuko took extreme exception to Shinji's antics. He had decided to associate with the mongrel race of Hollow. Tenji had wondered why only Kazuko was offered a position back within Soul Society and Shinji was not. Likely these two things are related. Noriko was clearly withholding a large amount of information from him. A new question arose now: Why did Shinji choose to associate with Hollows? The second question being: And what did he do once with them?

By Tenji's estimation Shinji simply being chummy with the inferior race would not be enough to upset his lesser half. No, Shinji must have done something and likely directly against Kazuko. Could it be related to Fact #2? Tenji strongly suspected it was. Now, Tenji had a more detailed suspicion...

New, detailed suspicion: Between the time of the Commodore's party and the following afternoon Shinji, and likely a few arrancar, directly offended Kazuko through some grand action. The action was enough that the Commodore herself ordered the harpy to deal with it immediately, thus causing the investigation over Tatti's death to fall back onto Tenji.

Conclusion: N/A Still too many details unknown and unverified.

When the rider's hands fell back down to grasp the back of the head of her steed they would only grasp air. As soon as Kazuko had relinquished her hold on Shinji to hurl a vase at Tenji, an opening was smelled. One that the captive would be sure to capitalize on, rather than letting her face take the fall for the parasite's inability to be harmed by his best efforts. This was the moneymaker of Kazinji's after all. The grip was loosened and it was time to be rid of this pest. As her hands slapped into the ground Samsara wrenched first to the left and then the right, freeing herself at last from the stingy piggy-backer. What would her first course of action huddled as she was and traumatized from being the racehorse of Michiko for so long?

Why to reach for a Hot lamp and chuck it at the head of her former partner of course. "PUHLEASE! We both know the reason you're pissed is because I wasn't there patting you on the back like you had hoped!' Maggot's Nest raid be damned, what pissed Kazuko off was that in her proudest moment of making the Gotei beg for her to return, Shinji wasn't there to clap along and hold up the sign he had given the soul candy to wave for Kazu in his place.

As if to make matters worse, she was shaken from her perch. Kazuko scowled, even though she knew that such an eventuality was inevitable. Almost immediately, she had to duck and weave out of the way of a flying lamp, how dare Samsarashinji fling around Kazuko's goods! Well, she was going to have to recall all the old stock anyway, to get rid of the Samsara face. With a growl, Kazuko leaned down and grabbed two corners of the Hot Carpet beneath Samsara's feet and gave a strong tug to pull it straight from under her and hopefully knocking the bastard on her back.

Oh so he wasn't there?! Oh so he wasn't inside that Samsara gigai?! OH SO HE REALLY WAS BEHIND THE NEST RAID? Kazu grinned, a savage, predatory smile. The kind a hollow got after feasting on a particularly tasty soul. It wasn't a straight confession, but it was good enough for Kazuko. She'd fill in the blanks with whatever story her mind could pull together. All she needed now was confirmation of her suspicions involving Raizen, not that she expected Shinji to give her anything. In fact, she fully expected him to do whatever it took to protect those involved with the raid, even if one of those people was Raizen.

"No! I'm pissed because now, I don't have a problem with killing you." Dem was fighting words. True too. She'd been so horribly back stabbed by his actions that now, Kazuko could see beyond the years, decades and centuries spent as comrades and focus on the base fact that they were on opposite sides. Kazuko was a Shinigami, Shinji was and Arrancar. Her job was to eliminate him.

She didn't mean that, but regardless the tactless and harsh words that were spilling from the wrathful Shinigami's mouth caused tears to well up in the eyes of Shinji's gigai, something that was hidden from the offender as at the moment the head turned, rounding on the rifling nosiness of Tenji. It was much easier to make his obnoxious entry into their domain his focal point right now, rather than look at the fiery and vengeful Kazuko.

"Wrong drawer, what you want is in the-" too late. The rug that had become a resting place, a refuge from the stormy nature that confronted Shinji on his store floor was yanked out from under him, the violence that beset his partner in no way dimming, dying, or threatening to waver. It was Samsara's back she wanted on the floor, and that's what she got, the loud thud that came with her spine slamming into the floorboards enough to suck the air out of her lungs before she had time to guide the neutral Captain properly.

From the new position and angle a vicious crotch stomp was sent at the core of Michiko, the slight and brown heel of Samsara thrusting through the air to repel her assailant. Hard.

Kazuko had a hot temper, she always had. Occasionally, it lead her to say things that she didn't really mean or perhaps, would come to regret in hindsight. However, she also had an uncanny ability when it came to displacing the guilt that came with hurting feelings. No, she would stand by her word. The fact that looking at Samsarashinji made her killer instinct twitch told her that Shinji had completed the transfer from friend to foe in reality and in her mind. His actions had been against the Gotei, and thusly, against her. Perhaps if they had been indirectly against her, things might be different. But the fact of the matter was that he had purposefully deceived her, he had feigned interest in her accomplishments and sent a doppelganger in his place by her side. He had done all that so that he could make use of his memories of being a 2nd Division Vice, memories that surely included her serving a night shift with him in the Nest, and he had infiltrated her domain. The result? He left her looking like quite the fool.

Now, Kazuko was hardly an academic, being so born of savage times, but even she knew that those were not the actions of a true friend. What made it worse was Shinji's surprise that she would take it so badly. How little did he know of the proud spirit?

While Kazuko was the furthest thing from a delicate flower, unlike Shinji, she really was a she. A kick to the crotch. While not as deadly as it was against a man, still wasn't a good way to spend your day. Fortunately, she knew Shinji and as with any learned behavior, she had a special eye for when he resorted to such tactics and her body a special recoil action when it recognized them. This time, her recoil put her off balance and sent the hellfire into a display case, where her impact toppled it and she collapsed back onto its shattered skeleton.

Undeterred. Kazuko took up a dislodged plank of wood, that had once served as a shelf, and pushed herself back to her feet.

"Yooou MUUUTHARFUUUUUUHKAAAAR!"

Then she started swinging. Wildly.
