"Healing Gamma!" I attempted to revive Ninten, with no luck. "Damn..." I swore under my breath. Kyle seemed puzzled but slightly amused. "Hypnosis Alpha!" I was asleep before I hit the ground. "Now, let's see what you're keeping in here..." Kyle muttered as he opened Ninten's backpack... |

"Well, this training session is over, for now. You'd better wake up, Skinny." I slowly opened my eyes. "...Beg your pardon?" I woke, to find Kyle rummaging through my pack. "It's not polite to dig through people's backpacks, pal." |

Stephen started walking out of Saturn Valley, when he got to the river, he covered his mouth. "OH GOD WHAT IS THAT SMELL!?" He said, as he looked up and saw the river, filled with trash and grime. "... Damn those pigmasks." He said, as he ran toward the underground road to threed. |

I slipped into a dream, or perhaps a memory... Two children rode on bikes down a suburban street. A boy, laughing, and a girl trailing close behind. "Hey, Kyle, I bet I can beat you to that corner!" the girl called to the boy. "I bet you can't, Leah!" he called back. "Let's see!" The girl pedaled hard and took off, while the boy followed close behind. "HAH! I win!" The boy lay back on the grass, triumphant. The girl sprawled out next to him and took a sip from her water bottle. "It's such a nice day..." A shadow loomed over them. "A very nice day..." Both boy and girl scrambled to their feet. "W-who are you?" she stammered. A large spider mech towered over the pair of children. "I am Master Porky," said the mech's pilot, "You two are coming with me..." The mech lunged, grabbing the children, and their screams went unheard as they were dragged through time... Nobody heard. Nobody came to help them. Not then, not ever. |

Something seemed odd... I was no longer in the hotel, by the looks of it. All wasn't dark, but now solid white... The boy again appeared in front of me. "You sure do faint alot, buddy... Anyways, I'm going to give you something... Special." He pulled a beautiful white-bladed sword with a red hilt, from nowhere, seemingly. "...Master using it, and you can have it. Practically the same as using a bat, but... Sharper, and heavier." I held the blade in my right hand... Entranced by it. "Bye, buddy... It pains me to say this, but this'll be the last time I see you... It's been... Fun." Like a flash, the boy was gone... I woke up in the hotel lobby, a while later... Holding the blade, instead of the Gutsy Bat. |

I woke up quickly, and was instantly alert. Kyle was still poking around in Ninten's backpack. "Hey, Kyle, you shouldn't be messing with things that aren't yours." I snarled, and he dropped the backpack and spun around to face me. |

I was rather dazed... "...What's going on?" I felt a bit dizzy... And was suddenly aware of the sword in my hand. "...Hmm?" I got up, slowly. "Why do you have my backapck, buddy?" I held the sword, underconfidently. |

"...Five guesses, and the first four don't count." Kyle snarled in a low voice. "Just one question, where the heck did you get a sword?" he asked, and then shook his head. "...You know what, I'm not going to even ask anymore." |

"...Well, I'm not exactly sure." Without thinking, I charged at him, sword in hand... |

Kyle easily parried the blow. "Well, having a sword and knowing how to use it are two different things." He seemed amused. "I, however, do know how to use my sword," I snarled, "and I'm better at it than you are, Kyle." |
