Hello there, I have one question before I start posting willy-nilly.

Is this site also for digital art? I have a few drawings and such, but I mostly fiddle with the digital world of art.

Hey, welcome to TAL, hope you have a good time here and so on.

It's for any kind of art - that means music, drawing, photography, photomanipulation, and writing, so yes, you can post digital art here.

Welcome to the site. Anything goes here as long as you've worked on it hard and think of it as art (although we can find some holes in that statement).
What are some of your hobbies?

Hobbies? Fractals (Apophysis), GIMP, Blender, and writing stories. And bashing Photoshop. Naw, I just love the free, open-source programs and can't understand why lots of people with minimal digital art aspirations buy photoshop when GIMP is free and can do almost everything PS can do with a better user interface.

I won Nanowrimo twice, but have since discovered upon rereading the rules that I 'cheated' on both of them (used a story I'd already started). But oh well...I wasn't able to do Nanowrimo this past year due to it being my freshman year of college and my taking a full 17 credits. Looking at my schedule, this year looks highly doubtful as well.

A fellow GIMP user? *hi fives*
Honestly I don't know anything on GIMP but I did do something on it which I might post. It's to do with NaNo, strangely.

Heh. I'm a lucky b****. I got PS Elements almost free - my dad knows a person who works for Adobe, and every year, that guy gets a free program. He gave it to my dad, who then passed it on to me.
B-)
