1) POST LENGTH
Since this is Basic Roleplay, you should only be aiming for roughly five to six lines per post, if you hit a little lower that’s fine, but no one-line roleplaying. Period. You want to get better at this and you never will if you aren’t even able to muster anything more than ten or so words.

2) GODMODDING
This rule applies to all three sections. There will be NO Godmodding. For those of you who do not understand what godmodding is, it is where you control characters that are not your own and start posting how other people’s characters react. This isn’t allowed, stick to the characters you have, otherwise it’s just a fanfiction, rather than a combined effort.

3) PERSONAL RULES
Anybody who starts a Roleplay, is entitled to post their own list of rules for you to follow, this is for things they specifically want in the Roleplay which may not be covered by these general rules. Follow them like you would these. If you don’t like there rules, simply don’t join their Roleplay.

4) EXPLICIT CONTEXT
If you wish to partake in a Roleplay that holds large amounts of sexual imagery, violence, cursing to such an extent that it would be classed as 16+, then please, let me know so before hand so I may password protect the Roleplay. If people wish to be able to view said Roleplay, then they must come to me directly so that I can see that they are of the required age to view such material. Public pornography, explicit cursing are forbidden on the board. We want people of all ages coming to this forum and they should not have to worry about people using the C word when they don’t agree with someone. This is a board for writers, let’s show we have a wider vocabulary than the swear words we learnt when we were twelve.

5) WRITING STYLE
For Basic Roleplay, script formation is discouraged, but not banned. However, spelling such as "it suxs to be m3" will never be execpted. Please remember to use spell check on Word, or any other program that has it. We want you to get better and the first thing that needs to be improved is your style of writing. Also, try and keep things such as swearing, crass comments to a low. It is fine if it is in the moment or in character, but it is not to be repeated rapidly.
