Grace notes in Albeniz "Tango"

Referring to the Albeniz Tango in D, Opus 165, No. 2. This score can be found by searching for:

IMSLP Albeniz Tango in D, Opus 165

in your Internet browser.

1. In m. 3, bass clef, there is a grace note G# (an eighth note with a slash in the stem) followed by the normal note A.

Supposedly, grace notes are always played on the beat, but in recordings
I've heard of the Tango, the G# grace notes sound as though they are played before the beat, and the following A, on the beat.

2. In the same measure (3), treble clef, directly above the G# grace note, are two grace notes F# and A. Are these two notes played before the beat, or is the F# played on the beat?

3. In measure 5, there are grace notes in both clefs on beat 2—an E in the treble clef and a G# in the bass clef. Depending on the answer to question 1, I would assume the same principle applies to the situation.

generally, grace notes in classical music are played as part of the measure, beat they are in, not before
