Okay there are 16th notes 32nd notes and i think 48th is ontop of that.. but whats on top of a 48th note and how fast does it go? Im trying to learn a song that has a... (i call it a 64th note but i really dont no what it is lol) and i dont know how fast its supposed to go!!

Whole, Half, 4th(quarter), 8th, 16th, 32nd, 64th, 128th. Each new note is twice the speed of the one before it. Like he said above, let us know what song it is so that we can help. |

I would just make each 8th note (or even 16th note) take the metronome beat (instead of the quarter note) and work out the rhythm that way at a SLOW tempo. Once you get it worked out slowly gradually speeding up the tempo shouldn't be too much of a problem. |

Check the tempo of the piece. It can be usually found on the upper left corner. Then get the metronome. |
