General Rules - 1 - Do not use racist, sexist or any form of abusive language anywhere on the forum. Anything to cause offense will be dealt with harshly. 2 - Do not spam or over-use smileys in posts. 3 - Swearing is permitted, but not excessively. 4 - Admins will take action where deemed appropriate. If a disagreement occurs, do not create a topic flaming the admins. PM us in a reasonable manner. 5 - Double posting is allowed, but not to excess. 6 - Necroposting - posting after 21 days - is banned, except when it comes to Art, sprites, fiction or RP threads. Pinned threads also do not count. 7 - DO NOT request warez, ROMs, MP3s or any other illegal material. It will not be tolerated. 8 - Please try to type in a coherant manner. We accept some leet(1337) and netspeak where amusing, but used to excess will get you a warning. 9 - Spambots will be eradicated. Normal text is descriptive, "" is speech, italics thinking and -- is out of character. Such an example would be: Rythen stepped toward the new user and greeted them warmly. "A pleasure to meat you." --See? Decent example, huh?-- 3 - Please try to keep your character in personality. Quiet and shy people don't suddenly run around screaming insanely, unless they have split-personality, major character change due to traumatic event in life or huge mood swings. Ban Conditions - The ban system works on a three-strike system. Strike one - Warning: Any persistant violation of minor rules results in placed in the warning group. Minor restrictions are placed and behaviour monitored until they are deemed fit to be a user again. Strike two - Prohobition: A more serious warning group. Used for those who offended badly, but not enough to earn a ban. May also be suspended for a time before monitered with heavy restrictions. Strike three - Ban: Done when a user has violated that many rules. We do not ban unless the user has shown that he will not improve. Banned people do not get second chances, but if they feel they are unfairly banned, they are welcome to appeal to the admins.
