1995 was when I started. however, I stopped on and off for a while. Now I don't really play muich at all, becasue I hate the way the game has gotten. I still play with my old cards, but none of my decks are tourny legal, so no tornaments for me. That and cards got so damn expensive. |

yea I can't even look at the new cards. I think it just got a bit shitty after the whole Tempest trilogy. Urza's saga and Nemesis were ok, but it just wasnt the same |

Welcome! I really recommend you read the series as soon as possible, because simply put it's as good as epic fantasy gets. I'm sure everyone here will agree with me on that. Yes, when attacking towns you must attack an adjacent town, an adjacent town being one that is connected to another with a line. There is a general layout for all terrain (the world is split into seven regions), which will be advanced upon in NPC battles. It's up to the defending player to decide the terrain of their city however, providing that 1) It fits the broad region layout and 2) It's not ridiculously built in their favor. Tactical advantage is a great thing to have here; that's mainly how you'll win battles. Of course there is the role playing element, and you have to effectively role play your strategy, but if you're a fair role player and an amazing tactician, you should to quite well. Again, welcome, and hope to see you join in next season! |

Thats the plan I am hoping to join as soon as it starts, already got a battle Stratagy Laid out ![]() IF all goes according to plan,, even with the new stratagy of You have to have troops stationed in towns, IU have a plan that, if successful in Deploying, should be able to own. Hopefuilly, there isn't anyone in my region of want.... only NPC, then that would make my job that muc easier
