Also I have agreed to let him use the troops to keep things moving, but still have concerns about besieging going forward. By the spirit of the rule I understand Chugman being allowed to purchase troops and send them to Cenedil's aid as he was not under siege at the time. That being said I feel that Athidoc's gold should not have been allowed to be sent to Chugman to purchase troops as Athidoc was under siege at the Time. If he wanted to send troops to Cenedil I feel he should have had to pay double for them. Again I have agreed to play it as it lies, (so this has no effect on this battle) but this is definitley abuse of a loop hole that I think needs to be remedied going forward. |

1 Unsullied 1 Pike 3 Archers 2 Men at arms 1 Trebuchet 30-40-90-60-50=280 gd Mid day is upcoming and the sky is overcast. Due to the overcast sky the day is refreshingly cool. All of the men are in the main plaza causing a nervous buzz as they await orders. Edited by Cenedil, Oct 6 2008, 07:05 PM.

The orders had come down from the White Bull himself. The council appeared to be going well, and for this reason the attack on Sunspear was to be withheld. The troops were not to leave as negotiation is a tenuos thing, but they were not to act either unless explicitly ordered to do so by the White Bull himself. Ans so they waited. The knights and unsullied practiced with tournament swords and the archers hunted any game they could find in the desert. The trebuchets were put on wheels, to allow them to target multiple areas of the enemy defense quickly, the balliastas shafts were soaked in oil so they could easily be lit afire, and the battering rams were turned into turtles. The wood above them would protect them from arrows, and the layer of hides on the wood would prevent them from being set ablaze. Preparations were made and it was time to wait. There was a current of hope in the air though. The hope that they would all soon be returning to their families, and that peace would reign throughout Westeros. |
