Can a player tribute troops to one of their allies who is under seige? I would propose that this not be allowed, as it would allow alliances to circumvent the paying double for units rule. Example: Player one has been besieged by an opponent. He has six days to respond and needs to purchase more troops in order to have a chance at successfully defending his city. Player 2 is in an alliance with player 1. Player 1 has 2 options: Option 1:Purchase the troops although he will have to pay double for them. Option 2:Tribute his gold to Player 2, Player 2 purchases troops at regular cost and then sends them to Player 1. This essential eliminates any advantage to besieging an opponent. For this reason I suggest that Battalions should not be able to be tributed to cities that have been besieged. They can still be tributed however to cities that are under attack. I'm not sure if the current situation would be legal or not, but I believe that it violates the spirit of the game, and I would like to find out how the situation will be handled., before it occurs. |

This has been a problem in previous seasons and has never been formally addressed. Your solution appears sound to me, and provided there is no objection then we will go ahead and implement it. |
