Janos was astonished. Curse him! The battle seemed lost. May he rot in hell and may he never remember this. This would not pass, he would not- could not allow it. But what were he to do? Nothing. There was nothing to be done but watch as the Ironborn killed and raped as they pleased, those foul squids- he did not like this one bit. The Blacks belonged in Pyke, on Pyke, not Westeros- the west! He watched as they closely started to march towards the city when he saw something on the left flank. He squinted his eyes and looked behind him and quickly turned back. Was Garlen mad? He was committing suicide. He watched at the Blood of the First Men formed in to a wedge, still unseen by the Ironborn. But how did they get past the caltrops? He knew…when? If he acted quickly he might be able to win back the city. If not…dark days would follow indeed. He watched as the wedge of First Men went closer. “Left flank, form up in to a wedge, spears around the exterior, same as before with bowmen inside.” He could feel a sweat coming; he had to act quickly. “Right flank, same as the left. But only the first two rows will be in a wedge shape. I want two rows of Unsullied, one on the left and one on the right. Inside will be the archers. Left flank, you will go first. Make sure the inside Unsullied shields re up before you hit melee range.” The First Men were getting closer…he gulped. “Left flank will hit them first on the left, but at an angle. I want the right flank to charge right through them, after the left flank makes their charge- seconds after- I don’t want to give them time to recover.” At this point he felt the power in his voice. “At this point, archers from the right flank are to cut their way through and in to the city where thy will fire from there. Take this fight to the rooftops- that is your final goal if necessary. If there are buildings over-looking the field- take them and fire from there!” He could feel the fury now, yes. “You’re ultimate goal is to turn the battlefield so it is us with our backs against the city. With our unsullied spears and shields facing the enemy.” "Exterior men have your spears out, overlap sheilds..." He grasped his sword hilt and pulled it out, shouting as he did so. “Make us see a new dawn! A dawn where the banner of Lord Manderly still flies with his mighty spear!” Right flank I canm't really get a good image, but it pretty much reselmbes a penc |

Winner-Chugman Losses: 2 Men-at-arms 1 Pikemen 1 Archers Reason: Chugman held the numerical advantage, but only by a hair, and both players roleplayed well. It was Chugman's strategy that decided the battle. Edited by Athidoc, Sep 12 2008, 03:19 PM.
