I have 2 huge problems here. The first is with using the 3 day rule for NPC battles, which I think is BS. I had serious reservations about Athidoc using it to take a city, but as I am an NPC mod, I guess it is my fault as much as any others that no NPC mod's responded. As for Direwolf's two battles, there is no way in hell that Direwolf should get the two cities. He is the one who has not posted in over 3 days, at least in Athidoc's case it was the NPC that did not respond. If anything Direwolf should lose both of the battles to the NPC with his movement costs and the troops he attacked with as he did not respond in 3 days. Now, I think that would be overly harsh, but I do feel that it is reasonable that in order for Direwolf to get those cities he needs to finish his posts for them. I will be changing the library and moving the topics back to the battlefield from completed battles. Please let me know if anyone has a problem with this. |

Hmm ou have a point. Chugman was the last poster. So the cities should become NPCs. |

If you think the system is BS then why did you agree to it here? In truth, the 3-day rule referred to in the Rules only applies to responses to the initial post of PvP battles. For replies after this, there is no real limit set, but the general consensus from both the first and second season was a five day limit. I only applied the 3 day rule in my NPC battle because no one had objected to its use in Arutha's. If there are objections to this rule, then I will gladly re-do my battle in its entirety. As for your second problem, it really doesn't matter how long a player takes in an NPC battle unless there is another player wishing to take the cities they are attacking. If such a situation arises, then the player taking an extended amount of time will be considered to have retreated, allowing the other players a chance at these cities. |

Athidoc, I apologize for my tone, I just figured that Chugman would have posted something and did not want to interfere with the battle. I definitley think you should keep it the way it is. We need to make sure that things don't slow to a halt so it was a good decision. I'm just upset with myself as an NPC mod for not finishing it, and wanted to make sure that Direwolf still had to finish his battles with Duskensdale and Rosby before he got credit for the cities. |
