When the Unsullied hit the men, more than a few breaches were made, but that was expected and the Dornish commander quickly altered his plan. Several spots in the formation held on impact, but several ruptures had formed where the Unsullied spilled through. Roaring in a voice loud enough for all to hear, the man yelled, “Everyone in the back collapse on the ruptures and flank the unsullied that got through. Everyone up front, form a wedge on me!”

Immediately the men went to work and hastily began attacking the unsullied caught in between them and moving on to those in the back. Since certain spots in the defending formation had held, the unsullied were being forced to rally, and the defenders did their best to exploit the momentary advantage.

As soon as the gaps had closed, Harin ran to the front and center and thrust his giant and bloody great sword into the air. The commander knew that the enemy could not catch them too disorganized and his men did not let him down. They rushed to form hasty wedge, and before the second wave reached the men had formed a rough wedge and had just enough ground to charge.

As the wedge formed up Harin Sand took a position at the head, thrust his sword high into the air, and let out a roar. When the men joined him, he lowered his sword and began to run at the Unsullied line. Though he didn’t have to go far before he reached the lines, the run felt like an eternity. In that long run, Harin thought back to everything he had done and figured he had lived a good life, but he shook that thought out of his head and roared before he hit the unsullied line. He was determined that he wasn’t done living it yet.

The charge consisted of the majority of the force, since it shouldn’t take as many people to defeat the already flank enemy behind. With the commander leading and looking like something out of the bard’s epic, the men slammed into the unsullied and began to fight bravely. They may not have had the discipline or experience the unsullied had, but they did have numbers and morale. They had a cause.

Ok then, this is ready for judging, as soon as Turncloak sends me an analysis.

Sorry for the delay on this, but I wanted to give someone else a chance to judge, so I'm letting chugman send me his analysis instead of using mine.

Alright, we're in a bit of a pickle. Both judges agreed that each player roleplayed and used strategy well, but disagreed on the victor. Turncloak said that the White Bull should win based on the Unsullied's skill, but Chugman said that Cenedil should win because of his numbers.

So, does anyone have any ideas for resolving this particular situation and others that will surely arise the fights to come?

I'd try to get ahold of Acheron or Gunslinger to see if either of them would step in as an impartial, but I haven't seen either of them around for a while.

Well. i think communication between the judges could make the difference in battles to come. I personally had a hard time choosing for this battle. Because even if you look at the cost and such they forces come out even. Also the players rped at about the same level so that was also even. So to tell the truth i had to flip a coin to decide.

If everyone thinks it is that close (and I agree that it is), we could always go with a compromise. Cenedil keeps the town, but suffers losses (1 men at arms). I give up the town but suffer no losses. Both of us still have to pay movement cost. This was a tough battle strategically for both of us, becuase we had so few units to work with. I don't think future battles will be this much of a tie.

So what do you guys think about the compromise??

All agree to the compromise. Anyone think it's not fair?

I am moving this battle to completed battles and updating the Grand Library.

Godsgrace goes to Cenedil.

Losses - 1 X Men at Arms.

No Losses for The White Bull.
