Lord of Harrenhal
Post profiles of your characters here, so we know who's who.

Sir Reven Vandelay
Younger son of the current lord of Harrenhal, Reven is ambitious, cunning, and a little overly-confident. He acts the part of obedient son while secretly coveting his father's throne. His brother, Lewell, disappeared years ago in the reach, but Lord Vandelay still holds out for his return, refusing to acknowledge Reven's claim to the throne until proof of Lewell's death is uncovered. Thus, Reven plans to succeed his father through...alternative means.

Lord Howell Vandelay
Lord of Harrenhal and father of Lewell and Reven. Howell is greedy and cruel, but also quite naive. He is also somewhat superstitious, and some believe he is beginning to lose sanity due to his son's disappearance. His wife, Corlyn, is still alive, but seldom visits Harrenhal, for reasons unknown. Some say she fears Harrenhal itself, while others persist it is Lord Vandelay she fears.

Grouthe
Grouthe's past is a mystery to most. In fact, other than Grouthe himself, the only one who knew much at all about his past was Lewell. Grouthe is a loyal servant to Lord Howell and friend to Sir Reven. As the rift between father and son grows, no one is sure where Grouthe will place his allegiance.

Lord Erys Manderly

Eldest son of the late Lord Walton Manderly and the current Lord of White Harbor, a man of fifty-three years. He is a fearing creature, who dwells in his castle for the most part. He is mad, to say the least. He has had two wives thus far, both of them dead. His first wife was tragically killed after being strangled unprotected. The other however died in childbirth.

Ser Petyr Manderly

A knight of forty-four years and brother to Lord Erys. He is a largely noted knight and has won many favors in tourneys and the like. Unlike his elder brother, he is a very pleasant man who can be found at a wine sink or brothel if not in his steel.

Ser Lareck Snow

Bastard brother to Lord Erys and Ser Petyr, he is a timid sort at times, but very loyal, or so it seems. In time, Ser Lareck won his place beside the two true sons of Lord Walton.

Ser Edrick Manderly

A knight of thirty years and the eldest son of Lord Erys. Edrick takes care of his father’s ways and is known to make cruel japes about the other lords of Westeros. Arrogant as he seems, he has his doubts.

Lord Ghoresh Pelock

Uncle to Edrick maternally, a man in Lord Manderly’s service, still morns his daughters murder, vows for justice.

Lord Beric Manderly

An old man of ninety and promised the lands of Seaguard. He is well for his age.
He is Lord Erys’ uncle.

Ser Boniface Manderly
A man of sixty-nine years, sworn to the Night’s Watch. Eldest son of Lord Beric Manderly.

Ser Tristifer Manderly

Boniface’s son. A man of forty-one years,

Ser Brandon and Eddard Manderly

Twins, sons of Ser Tristifer Manderly

Yeah, I plan to have some bad assery going on

Ser Rryn Sand
The bastard son of a minor house and a native of the Dornish deserts, Ser Rryn was raised in the home of his uncle, Ghent Silverfang. Silverfang, a former captain and living legend of the Sand Snake corps, raised his nephew to wield not only whip and spear, but also quill and ink. He insisted that Rryn would rise above the ranks of common soldier, and so he taught him strategy and tactics, provision and morale. Above all, though, he taught the young Rryn loyalty to Dorne, and her supremacy among nations.

At sixteen, Rryn was placed on a ship and sent east, with just his spear, whip, bedroll, and canteen. His uncle had paid the passage one-way, and told him to fight whomever and wherever he had to, until he could afford to come home. Rryn spent seven years as a mercenary, killing whoever the gold asked. During this time, he met and quickly befriended the brothers Brune. It was due mostly to intense ridicule from these brothers that he determined to learn the sword. He soon found that, due to its dual stab-and-slash threat, he could adapt both whip and spear tactics to the sword. This resulted in his developing a unique and extremely effective fighting style that quickly won him both wealth and fame.

His fame even spread to Dorne, where, upon his return, he was invited to serve in Lord Ristan Martell's personal guard. He accepted, on the condition that Russ and Red Thom Brune be accepted as well. After just a few incidents of wise battlefield council to the lord in life-or-death situations, Rryn was dubbed Ser Rryn, and given command of the Martell armies. A hero to those loyal to his lord, and the Scurge of the Sand to his enemies, Ser Rryn will not rest until Dorne sits in her rightful place, as ruler of all Westeros.

Russ and Red Thom Brune
Former mercenary companions, now personal bodyguards, to Ser Rryn Sand. Both brothers are bearded giants whose loyalty to Ser Rryn is unwavering. Red Thom (called so due to his penchant for the color blue and Russ's strange sense of humor) is quiet and reserved, while Russ is a one-man party, laughing even as he relieves men of their limbs on the battlefield. Both love the other dearly, and show it, in typical brotherly fashion, by arguing incessantly.

Robert Stark
The Lord of Saltpans. Many years ago his elder brother who was the Lord of Winterfell sent him south to conquer cities for the Starks. Robert did what he was supposed to and he had come far, but when he was at Saltpans he received the news that Winterfell was attacked and his brother was dead. That is when he started to go insane. Slowly at first, so no one really noticed. People only thought that he was making weired decisions at first, for instance Robert didn't want to go back and retake Winterfell, he wanted to stay at Salpans and only strike when the time has come. Now the time has come, but Robert is in no state to rule, since his insanity has gone so far that he now believes that he is a direwolf. He even insists that everyone call him Lord Direwolf. So for now Saltpans is being ruled by Fredderick Cassell the Grand General until James, Robert's son, finally excepts his responsibility as heir.

James Stark
James is Robert's son and his heir. Though James should rule Saltpans, because of his father's insanity, he chooses not to. Instead Fredderick must rule in his stead. All that James really wants is to fight in battle and to earn every advancement by himself without any help from his rights as the Lord's son or from anyone else. His goal is to become Grand General.

Fredderick Cassell
Fredderick has been serving in the Stark family for many years and has earned his position as Grand General. Though now his duties not only lie in taking care of the army of Saltpans, but in taking care of everything. He let's Robert believe that he is still in control, but cannot agree with Robert's decisions and so he makes his own. He only hopes that James will soon see what role he has to play and that he will finally except that fact that he is the heir of Saltpans and must rule in his father's stead.

Lord Cenedil Ertulcien- Cenedil was a previous Lord of Longbow hall. When one of his campaigns ended in a failure he took his 50 best men and fled on a ship to Dorne. When in Dorne he spent a while working his way up the political ladder and when he was properly positioned, sent Ser Reman to assassinate the previous lord of Sunspear. He plans to restore Sunspear as soon as he finishes with his campaign.

Ser Havlan Tyndall- Childhood friend of Cenedil and is said to be one of the best tacticians in the world, and while it is said he is one of the best swordsmen few have seen his skill and lived. He isn’t a tournament man.

Ser Reman Hollis- Reman is a jovial person who likes nothing more than shooting. He has become renowned as one of the best shots there has ever been in Westeros, and as a result he quickly became the leader of the Men of the Vale. Though few know it, he is a skilled assassin that toppled many important figures before he joined the army of the vale. He enjoys gambling, archery, and any kind of competition.

(Will update as I reveal more of my characters.)
