A good friend and I have been working day and night to create a role playing forum for the last three weeks. We wanted to make a site that was fun, had a great plot line, as well as a forum that actually incorporated its members, almost like a table top game. Your decisions effect what happens next, instead of a completely predetermined plotline. Anyways, we're starting out small, and going to add to things over time as the plotline is developed and more members join.

Note, this is a ROLE PLAYING forum, not a strategy game like this one.

Valley of Eden

Enter the Valley of Eden. We are a unique role playing forum crafted for those who wish to role play in a one of a kind, hands-on, plot driven world.

~~~
Humans have lived in the Southern Flatlands, their pinnacle of civilization the gleaming metropolis of Ultimatum. Contact with the Northern Flatlands is scarce; the impassable Dark Wood blocks the majority of the route. Only the bravest merchants from Ward, the Northern Flatland’s city, dare the Merchant’s Path through the treacherous Hills. No trader has been seen for almost three years.
It is in Ultimatum that the newest technology and innovation is crafted. Steam trains and flintlock guns are built, their uses becoming far more prominent as the city advances by the day. For the past two years Humanity’s University has been funding a daring project; create a railroad to cross through the Dark Woods, an effort and finally connecting two worlds together. The project initially started slow, but has gained support in the last year; Ultimatum’s nobles are now determined to create a path through the forest, no matter how difficult. Hundreds of men lose their lives every day to this project; mythical creatures attack on what is an almost hourly basis, feeling angered and threatened by the loss of their homeland.
And now a dark cloud has appeared to the north. People speak in whispers that this is an omen of what is to come. What happens next may determine the future of Ultimatum, and perhaps the fate of all time to come.
Now come and gather 'round, the first chapter is about to begin...
Looks awesome Gunslinger. Just one question, are you Defiance or Relikation?
Anyway, I'll definitely be joining. <3 Steampunk
Defiance. And the world isn't quite steampunk yet, we just have that there as new things are invented, and that's the direction it will be taking.
Also, not that anyone asked, but you're free to set up your own topics anytime. Plot topics/major stuff will be posted (started) by administrators. I'll probably start a topic later tonight, kind of a board opening one that can get everybody role playing if you're not quite sure how to start off.
Again, feel free to make a topic yourself, I'm sure others will join you!
The board sounds sweet Gunslinger...
Speaking of steampunk, has anyone ever played the "Thief" series? 1 and 2 are two of the most enjoyable games I have ever played
Yah, Thief games were amazing. The board isn't quite that steampunk yet (Honestly it's more industrial revolution currently, but steampunk is the course technology will be taking). We (the administrators) are going to developed some of the main technology, but later on we're going to let members take things into their own hands
Anyways, if you ever get regular access to internet, we'd love to see you there!
[For anyone who didn't catch it, the link is in the bold Valley of Eden words at the top of the advertisement. Added link at the bottom as well]
