So I've noticed that no one seems to read the posts that I posted or half of any of Turncloak's posts. I say this because none of our questions were answered EVER, and we've brought up the same ones at least twice. I can't help but feel ignored really. No one's even made mention about any of the things Daulden has said until he sent the letter. That got some attention but simply because, I think, I made it clear that it was important... Anyway I was wondering why no one cares to answer anything that Daulden asked or what Turncloak has been asking? No answers, if any were answered the answers didn't make the least bit of sense really so I took them as a joke, were given and in character it shows disrespect to other's characters which also shows that, whoever chooses to ignore the questions, is either unsure of what to answer which is bad leadership skills/ That shows that everyone who's ignored what's been being said ... Or the person that is RPing them is simply afraid of what the answers would mean to the negotiations, such as not going there way and their characters, or alliances, being looked at badly and being unstable. Anyway! These thoughts make me as unhappy as waking up to go to school in the morning. |

Because we can't read the letter you were sent or just wrote? As for Turncloak, she's changing her mind every two seconds, so I don't blame people for not listening to her. |

Did my mind really sound unstable? Ok, ya, maybe guilty. But if things were to go the way I intended....the thinhg is, you decided to be the man to make it 'interesting' |

Not just in my letter by the way... It seems you are one who didn't read my posts or simply skimmed through them. I don't think Turncloak's character would object were the other Lords to ask. In the post after it was sent to Lord Ryam it said that he put it on the table for all to see I believe... Let me check really quickly here...
That kinda gives the opportunity for you to at least ask to read it yourself. *shrugs* Perhaps if you had read the post better... Then again maybe that's just not what your character would do. By the way, who are you actually RPing as? Not too fair to have some random guy there in a negotiation that he wasn't invited to and support The Tempest. I could make a claim that Meta-gaming is involved and he's there to help an alliance that you left. Anyway! *sigh* Did you read all of my posts through, and all of Turncloak's? Just a question in the back of my head that's been bothering me. I'm not just questioning you, gunslinger, I'm questioning everyone except Turncloak. Also as far as Turncloak changing his mind, it's pretty true but now i think it's clear where he stands. It was clear to me where he stood this entire time really. Daulden was hurt, as I said in a post of mine, that Turncloak ignored him when he came in but He and Lord Ryam have become friends and Lord Den knew that he wouldn't be left by Ryam to fend for himself. He knew that he would come around and the letter just happened to be the thing that turned him back to seeing reason. By the way, Turncloak if my posts were read and my questions answered, I think things would be different in the negotiations. I still think it's strange that nobody seems to have had their characters think about the rage and fury going through Lord Ryam and Lord Den while he was there. *shrugs* In my posts I tried to give people plenty to post about and respond to, his pains and grimaces. His armor, his weapon, himself... His sweating. No-one seemed to notice any signs of anything. I really only put that in there to see how people would react and found myself disappointed when everything I did was ignored. |

In fact, I cant see whatsoever you are complaining about. Every single post that you made (apart from the one in which you leave), the direct post after it has made some mention of your post, and the claims/questions you mentioned. |

I'm confused Daulden... what exactly do you want us to respond to? Why don't you just put your demands out here in bullet point if you want it to be perfectly clear. Also, we've made very clear demands... so I think it should be evident what our response to your proposals are. In case it wasn't clear in the negotiation, here it is: 1) It is our belief that we can and will destroy as many of you as we need to, even if that means that every single lord has to be taken out. We have far more money and resources than the rest of you combined, so a fight only leads to our victory. 2) Because we don't want any more violence than necessary, we are offering a "truce" to anyone who joins us. If you submit to our alliance's dominance we will allow you to keep your lands and your power. However, if each and every one of you decides to fight us together that's fine too. It's just that we thought everyone wanted to negotiate a peace because the season already had a massively overpowered alliance. |

I just believe you're a sore loser. It's not too hard to think just who I may be if you read between the lines. We can already infer what was written in the letter, and honestly ask yourself, if somebody just read a letter then put it on the table in front of them, are you going to walk up and take it? |

I actually don't consider my self as losing. *shrugs* sure I can be taken out pretty quickly by just about everyone on the board but that doesn't really mean I lose. I won't lose until that happens... if that happens, which by how things seem to be going much more smoothly in the negotiations despite a chair being over someone's head, I think that an agreement may be reached soon that will make everyone happy. Even though I really don't think nearly any of my questions were answered that I put forward, I realize that I was being aggressive in a way. For near a week I felt very aggressive while looking at this forum, it was fun. Now though it's like not as... engaging I suppose .About the letter... No, I wouldn't expect someone to come up and take it, though perhaps a simple question would've been enough to read through it. *shrugs* Obviously it was the source of the anger and such coming from Lord Ryam, if it wasn't Daulden who'd sent it and he was still there, he would've been very curious and may have asked to look through what was written himself. Maybe to see if the anger that was coming from the Lord was warranted. Who you are RPing as? I know who you are but my character doesn't. That's kinda what I was getting at I think. The knowledge that you in real life have, shouldn't have any affect on what you RP. In other forums that is breaking the rules. It does make sense that if you are playing someone that is in the game they wouldn't automatically know of a battle happening on the other side of the world but in this case, it's fair to say that you would know within a few days maybe. Word travels fast so everyone should know of alliances made and broken and who's attacking/going where. Eyes and ears of sorts. I think I've gotten a little off topic now... Acheron, really, Lord Den didn't make proposals... He tried to make it hard for other people to see why to choose The Tempests demands over ones that other Lords made. By the way, I've re-read the topic (It took a while...) and saw that what I did was read and some people wrote about it and reacted a little. I think I expected too much from my posts actually. anyway, I've re-read them like I said and saw that they weren't very great, I had no reason to be upset. My bad. =P Well! I was going to post something more about this topic but, For one, I forgot what it was and two... I have a mid-term in math to do... Again, I apologize for my angry half in my posts here, but not for what I brought up. *shrugs* Anyone care to write an essay for me? |
