It seems, unless other Lords see fit to speak otherwise, that for now we have agreed to creating a king. I hope I have shown somewhat my ability to rule in a just manner, and look forward to seeing the result of this crowning.

Ranly lowered the chair and looked over at Menelvagor and shrugs and says"Simply i thought you had poisoned the arrows as darts for such weapons usually are."Putting the chair back in its place he then says"So we shall vote then."

Acheron

Lord Acheron stood once again,

"My noble ally, while I appreciate the just sentiment of your plan I cannot endorse it. Voting on a King here today would perhaps bring peace so long as all were content with the one chosen. However, Menelvagor speaks the truth... factions would emerge in which the Lords held true power. At any time of strife or unpopularity, another council could be called to vote once again for a King. This would cripple the monarch's ability to govern effectively as he would rule at the pleasure of the nobility. And that only plants the seeds of a new war, just as terrible as this one."

“Ah, Lord Dire, still thirst for blood do you?” he smiled. “But I do agree with Verathoc. This way, it will be balanced. And as long as the council is made up of different men from different nations all will be well. That would, and may put my troubles to rest.
“But I have…drawn up this proposal, the one I spoke of earlier..”

Enclosed in this letter are the proposed land distributions for the Lands of Westeros written on Lord Ryam Tyrell’s behest

The Lord Acheron of Casterly Rock will hold the Westerlands and hold all incomes of it. If any other is in possession of his land, he is advised to return it.

The Lord Athidoc of Harrenhall shall hold all Riverlands but the Twins and Seaguard, all other incomes go to him. If any man is in possession of those said lands other than the Twins and Seaguard, he is advised to return it.

The Lord Daulden of Flint’s Finger will hold the majority of his domain in the Vale and will still have all lands and incomes from the north. If any man possesses any land in the Vale, he is advised to return it.

The Lord DireWolf of Salt Shore will hold Dorne, exemting the lands of Menelvagor Curugil. He will get all other incomes. If any man possesses any land in in Dorne, other than Curugil, he is advised to return it.

The Lord Menalvagor of Starfall, if the lord consent will be given possession of the Reach and all its incomes. Otherwise he is to remain a lord in Dorne. If any man possess any land in the in Dorne, other than he and Drie, he is advised to return it.

The Lords Ranly and Verathic however, seeing as there is a land dispute, will be both given the Stormlands and the Crownlands, and all its incomes. If any man possesses any land in said, he is advised to return it.

The Lord Ryam of the Widow’s Watch will rule the lands of the North and be subject to all its incomes exempting the lands of Lord Daulden.

This is the proposal of the Lord of the North

~Ryam Tyrell

He listened to Acheron. "then make a council above the king and wed the realm, make the realm a common kin." he paused. "IOr we can elect archons."

Oh how I wished for peace, under a king, kept in check by the Lord of the realm, and how still I wish for peace. I may now strike at the noble Lord Direwolf myself, for if if we cannot all agree on this plan, then the plan holds no sway whatsoever - but know this, my good lords. Should the lords Archeron and Athidoc agree to voting for a king as above stated - I will withdraw all my men from the lands that I now invade.

I wonder, of the Lord's here, who still objects to voting for a King. For I did not here many objections here, though few have decided to place their votes
