So I guess I'll start the first real off-topic topic. Elections 08: McCain, Obama, or Clinton and why? I'm all about Obama. McCain's too much like Bush and Clinton is much too influenced by lobbyists. Obama isn't perfect either, but he seems like the least bad. |

Definitely Obama. First of all I'm a democrat and second I like his speeches and the wa he expresses himself, not to forget he'd also be the first black president(first female can wait, we already have on here in Germany) |

He came to a local college in Iowa that was about 10 minutes away from where I live. |

I like Clinton. Seems to be the only one that makes sense to me. Besides you get 2 Clintons for the price of one. I really do not like Obama's foreign policy--he seems too weak. McCain is way too much like Bush. Honestly of all the candidates Edwards seem to be the best, but he isn't too popular and he's out. |

I agree; the thought of Bill Clinton as the First Lady would be quite entertaining (I could just see him sitting in a big fancy hot-tub entertaining all the Prime Minister's wives while his wife did business with their husbands). |

I'm British, so I know little about American elections, but... Obama definitely would be the one I'd vote for, but isn't there a bit of a rock star feel about him? The way Gunslinger said he'd gone to 'see him' like a rock band, hehe. |

I agree with the main consencous here - Obama is the pick of the bunch. My only worry seems to be that the type of people that support Mccain, are much more the type of people that bother to vote - while there is a much higher percentage of Obama "supporters" that could be bothered voting. If I'm making any sense at all.... |

Yeah, I liked him the most too. He was the only one who planned on state-sponsored health care. Too bad he dropped out of the election. |
