Alliance Numbers

I was just thinking, and wondering what other peoples thoughts were, about the limit of 6 per alliance. I feel, with what looks like to be around 15 players this season, that 6 is too many - I even felt that four was erring on the side of too many last season.

With the higher amount of members in allainces, it makes it far to easy for one allaince to quickly gain dominance, and then be unbeatable by all others. I feel the alliance limit should be 4, and just wondering what other people think about numbers.

I think it would be a bit more fun with more people in an alliance, but considering the amount of players in this season I also agree that 6 people would be too much and 4 would be more appropriate.

There should also be a minimum of 2 people per alliance.

I think 3-4 is a good number, but since we already have a 6 person alliance this season, we'll have to kick someone out to change it.

I suggest that if a change is going to be made to the alliance cap, any alliances with 5+ members be dissolved.

Also, I think it should be done soon because it might affect the way people start out with their claims

To be honest I had expected more people to join this season.

I'm changing the alliance cap now; it's back down to 2-4. All current alliances are no disolved; I apologize for any inconviniences. I'm sure you all understand this game is a work in progress, and the only way to truly fine-tune the rules is to actually have things play out in an actual season.

Meh, if we ever get more more members I'll up the alliance cap, but right now 5 is far too overpowered w/o some more players (you can still recruit people...registrations for empires close Monday night).

I agree that the number should be low, to encourage gameplay involving many alliances. If they're too big (like 6 members), then there will just be two main alliances and a bunch of insignificant players.
