Well, I guess I could write a bit about myself, so here goes: My name is Koby. I am a huge fantasy fan, which is how I got into this game. I read aSoIaF, loved it, thought it was the best I saw since Tolkien, and started looking for stuff related to it across the web. Being a huge fantasy fan, I have also read LotR, the Silmarillion, The Hobbit, Unfinished Tales, about 90 Dragonlance boks, most of R. A. Salvatore's Dark Elf series, Trudi Canavan's Black Magician and Age of the Five trilogies, a lot of Mercedes Lackey's books (nearly all her Valdemar books, the Obisdian trilogy, and the Free Bards). I live in Israel, study in a school with dorms, and come home to the internet every Tuesday, and two out of three weekends. I also like greek mythology and medieval ages history, especially England. My assumed name here is based on 'Menelvagor', the elvish name (in Tolkien) for Orion. 'Curugil', is a combination of elvish 'gil' (star), and 'curu' (which is something like 'skilled', but which I use for fire). Not much else I can think of currently. *claps* that is a lot of books... The only notable series I've read were The Wheel of Time, The Complete Book of Swords, The Lost Book of Swords, His Dark Materials, and a long time ago, Redwall. Anyway, good to have you. |
